“I recently moved to the area. I saw the good reviews for Stella's and wanted to check it out. I've been here six times now, mostly wanting "burger" type meals. The burgers I've ordered have all been great and the size/amount of food for the money is second to none in todays food prices.\n\nThis "cafe" is linked to the Bonanza casino. I've only ever been here at the noon hour shortly after they open. The very first time I visited, there were two employees. All five other times there was only one. Needless to say, when it's just one employee who's doing the order inputting and cooking it's a bit slow. All six times I've visited around noon, there's never many patrons but it's obvious this cafe also is cooking for the employees of the Bonanza casino on break. That being said, the gal who's running the show is a rock star cooking and providing great customer service and food despite the casino not being able to keep an adequate staff???\n\nMy last visit I wanted to try a pizza. I came in at noon, when they open, and was told the pizza oven wouldn't be warm enough to cook a pizza for an hour or so. I ordered another great burger instead but wanted future patrons to know, don't come here for a group/personal pizza before 1:30. Despite some of my complaints they still get 5 stars for taste per dollar and customer service in the face of shortages.”

“We had a fantastic experience at Dragon Tiger Noodle Co. and the quality was exceptional! 🍜 I later found out it’s a Jet Tila concept, which explains the sophisticated flavors and presentation—you can really taste the difference.

The open kitchen was such a great feature, and my custom bowl with house-made ramen and Chinese chicken broth was superb! Plus, the portions of chicken and shrimp were impressively generous. 🍤

We also loved the crispness of the fried gyoza and Lil' Dragon wings! 🔥 We got the sauce on the side to be safe, but the heat was very balanced, so we’ll definitely get them tossed next time. No photos of the sides because we devoured them the second they hit the table—honestly, that’s the best review I can give! 🍴”

“The food is so much better this year than ever before, so I recommend the Face Bar. The service is wildly uneven. Last week, we had a server who was fabulous, checked in often, and got us iced coffees, even refilled! This week, we had a server who did not understand our orders, told us we couldn't have iced coffee (though he did get it when we insisted), did not bring cream or sugar until the fourth (polite) request, and barely checked in. I get it — it is difficult to get wait staff in the mountains. It is so unfortunate that the service is so uneven, since it's the only non-casino sit-down restaurant in town.”

“While I checked out Main Street, my husband found this great little place. He likes the local favorites, not the crazy tourist traps. Such a great atmosphere and fun environment. So fun to sit and visit with the bartender. Can’t remember his name, but it was one of the brothers- the “Fun-cle”. He was super nice and easy to visit with. Sadly, I could not buy his cool shirt!”

“Great service, nice floor plan and spectacular selection of ales, pilsners, lagers, and more+. One of my FAVORITE things about this place is that they serve 3 different size glasses. This gives you the opportunity to try several different selections on their menu in 5oz glasses. Fantastic opportunity for customers to try different things without commiting to a large size. Love this place!”

“We stopped here on our cross country honeymoon, and decided on impulse to stop at the brewery. The food was so good, great portions, vibe was fun. The best part was our server Christian. He was such a delight and it truly made our experience. He was quick to make conversation with us and very interesting to talk to. He told us a bit about the area and gave us a few recommendations. If you get a chance to stop here definitely ask for Christian. You won’t regret it!”

“We enjoyed Clear Creek Cidery! Our waiter was very nice! Not sure of his name, but he greeted us when we walked in. He seated us and asked us how we were. He made sure we had everything we needed and even made sure my daughter was happy! He checked on us several times and made sure we were satisfied! The lady that was helping clean tables was very sweet as well! She was refilling drinks and even brought my daughter paper and crayons to draw with. Their on tap cider was very good! I tried the hard apple! My daughter’s chicken strip kids meal was very fresh! My husband loved the salmon appetizer! Everything is made fresh and homemade and you can really tell they value their business and customers! We loved this place and plan to go back when we visit Idaho Springs again!!”

“The selection of ice creams rotates and you have a choice from about a dozen flavors at any time. The young women working the counter are friendly and talkative. You can eat inside or out on the many chairs and benches available in the pedestrian area.

They serve Magills ice cream so you can count on it being very good.”
