I would give this place a 10/5 stars if I could!!! I don’t even know where to begin with explaining why I would recommended this place over and over again.

Emily was the BEST to work with! She was so responsive. So attentive to detail. And just a lovely person.

The completely SAVED my wedding day. Our original caterer cancelled 5 days before my wedding, and A Spice of Life was able to work with me on making the exact same menu and making it happen to caterer at my wedding.

On top of saving my wedding day, their food was SOOOO good. We had so many people tell us it was the best food they’ve had at a wedding before. The filet was cooked PERFECTLY too.

I don’t know how you pulled it off but I am forever grateful.

We used Spice of Life for our wedding this past August and could not have asked for a better experience. Kathy V is amazing and made our day so easy. It felt like we knew her for years. The experience was seamless and the food, incredible. Our guests raved about the food, in particular the steak. Highly highly recommend. You will be thrilled with the quality of the food/services and the price!

Spice of Life catered an outdoor dinner party at our house for 40 people. It could not have been better - the staff was superb, very helpful from set-up, through dinner and cleanup. The food was delicious and plentiful. I received many great comments from attendees. Everyone left happy and with a smile. I highly recommend Spice of Life Catering and would not hesitate to have them cater our next event.

Spice of Life made feeding and serving people drinks on our wedding day seamless. The communication from Charlie was outstanding. She was always willing to change our guest count as we received RSVPs and even met up with us on our final walkthrough. The staff present on the wedding day were so kind and our guests loved interacting with them. The food of course was amazing, we did the chicken fajita buffet and heard raving reviews from our guests. Thank you to all staff at Spice of Life!

As I start this review, after the most magical and wonderful wedding ever, it is truly hard for me to articulate just how incredible Kathy and The Spice of Life team is and the profound impact they have made on me during our wedding process. When we started looking for caterers for our wedding, we interviewed some, who were all fantastic. But, the moment we had talked with Kathy, I knew A Spice of Life would be part of our special day. Kathy demonstrated great kindness, compassion, expertise (I mean look at her portfolio), and a true sense of authenticity that captured my heart from the very beginning. I appreciate her consistent and prompt correspondence, whether through email or phone call, and all the answers she had to my many questions, all answered with a positive attitude and willingness to help.
Going to do our menu trial was one of the highlights of my wedding process. Every item was so delicious and we did not want to stop eating!! The staff was considerate, talented, and open to any suggestions. Not that we had any, we loved the food just the way it was! It was delicious! It was also fun to eat with Kathy, who was also so helpful to bounce ideas off of, talk to, and was genuinely wonderful to be around. I also appreciated her prompt communication in regards to the menu and seat assignments leading up to the wedding day.
On my wedding day, from the moment they arrived, the Spice of Life team were on task and ready to go! The team was so professional, on time, and very efficient.. And, wow, do they know how to cook! Everyone around me was so impressed with their poise and kindness, making the day feel even better. The team was flexible with timing, broken ovens, a fire alarm and positive through every step of the way. They are so talented in their work. My guests loved the meals, from the appetizers at cocktail hour, to the dinner (sirloin steak is amazing), to the donut flambe bar (HUGE hit), and our late night snacks. The team has a great knowledge of knowing how the wedding timeline flows and when to serve the food for the various portions of the night.
I found that The Spice of Life’s genuine compassion, love for their art, and kindness made everyone, including me, feel at ease and we all had the best time from start to finish! I cannot recommend A Spice of Life enough and am grateful for, not only their expert and fantastic work and products, but also their genuine desire to make our day wonderful and their kindness through every step of the way. Thank you Kathy and A Spice of Life, we are forever grateful to you!

Spice of Life catered for our Boulder Chamber Economic Council luncheon. They always do a fabulous job and go above and beyond. From start to finish Rebecca Major, makes the experience so easy and seamless. Her ideas and attention to detail make any event a huge success. Although the menu was planned in advanced, we had to add some additional items at the last minute. The entire team couldn't have been more accommodating, friendly and professional. Thank you, Rebecca, Garth, Stephen, Sergio, Abraham, Bryan, Gustavo, John, Cohen, Lesbia and the rest of the Spice family! We appreciate you all.

A Spice of Life Catering was exceptional. From the start, it was clear this team truly cares about delivering a great experience. Emily, the Director of Sales and Senior Event Specialist, helped us build a thoughtful and delicious menu. The attention to detail, flexibility, and communication throughout planning made a huge difference. Quinn, the office manager, made the payment process smooth and simple.

On event day, everything was flawless. The food was fresh, beautifully presented, and guests couldn’t stop talking about how good it was. The entire team was professional, kind, and efficient from setup to cleanup. I’ve worked with many caterers, and this was by far the best experience. Highly recommend.

Delicious, fresh and a lot of variety of food choices. Often when I attend events there are not options for me as a vegetarian.

A Spice of Life provided delicious options for vegetarians and carnivores alike.

The desserts were delicious. Everything was served buffet style and had a sense of elegance.

We used A Spice of Life for our wedding day! We received soooo many compliments on our food and service. (The venue was also *very* impressed.) We went with a family style meal, and our guests really thought the service was awesome. Our guests, obviously, loved the bartenders as well. :) Food, service, and our event specialist were all amazing. Highly recommend!

Huge thank you to Spice of Life for providing thousands of pancakes for residents of Superior at our 4th of July Event! Spice of Life has helped out with various events and has been a pleasure to work with. Looking forward to more to come.

A Spice of Life catered our open house at The Hope Institute of Boulder! Sena (sales) Beck (event manager) and her team, Katlen, Cohen, and David, were top notch! The food was incredible, of course, but the team really sealed the deal! They were an excellent group, helpful, and always one step ahead of the event!! Cannot recommend them enough!!
