As a native New Yorker, I know pizza as we say. I'm here in Boulder for a job down the street and when I came in I told them of my high standards. Everything about this place is just terrific. Superb friendly service, nice big area with pinball and comfy booths.
But if we are honest here, those things are nice, but if you know pizza like me, the slice is all that matters.
I had a thin pepperoni slice. When I came in I was on a real high from something going well at work. Not only did this utterly superb slice match my mood, it elevated it from exhultant to straight beatific.
Perfectly crunchy crust. Authentic delicious sauce. Crispy pepperoni, all laden (by me) with a healthy amount of Parmesan, oregano and garlic.
When I give Abo's South this stamp of authentic NY Pizza afficiando approval, I do not do so lightly.
Honestly sitting here back on the job site 20 minutes later as I write this, my mouth is literally still watering.

Everyone is super super nice but melanie was the main one helping me and made me laugh and really helped with my social anxiety. Vibes in the store were super great from the team they all seemed to be having fun together. Also the pizza was lit, love the toppings deals. Highly recommend
