I have never seen a Barista move so slowly in my entire life. I ordered two drinks and it took 12 minutes. No joke, 12 minutes making just two drinks. Someone she knew came in, and she chatted with him while make my order, at times completely setting down the carafes entirely to continue her conversation. Drinks are good, so if you have extra time to kill, check it out, but if you’re in a hurry, this is not the stop for you. 💀

I absolutely love Ampersand. It's within walking distance of my work, and while I'm not a huge coffee person, Ampersand definitely breaks the mold there. The blends and options are so unique and delicious, and I always enjoy trying something new here. I'm big on tea, so I appreciate that they have matcha! The staff are super kind, skillful, and welcoming. The interior is warm and cozy (and I'm a huge fan of the giant world map on the wall as someone obsessed with maps). Such a fantastic place and I'm so glad it's nearby.
