We had a great meal at Apertivo, but patience is definitely required! The food was absolutely delicious—clearly made with care and high-quality ingredients—but the wait was longer than expected due to their small kitchen. It took quite a while for our entrees to arrive, which was a little frustrating, but the staff was incredibly kind and kept us updated throughout. To make up for the wait, they offered us complimentary gelato and sorbet, which was a really nice touch. Both were fantastic—creamy, flavorful, and the perfect sweet ending to the meal. The service was warm and welcoming, and despite the slow pace, we left satisfied. If you're in a rush, this might not be the place for you, but if you're willing to relax and enjoy the experience, it's definitely worth it!

The food was good but the space is small and very noisy. tables were so close together they might has well been a community table. This made the atmosphere loud and not possible to have private conversations

This was Christmas dinner for my two kids and me. Server was kind. Ambiance was ok. Food was so so. The calamari was very rubbery. My daughter's chicken penne had pieces of hard plastic in it. I let the server know and she informed the kitchen. Nothing was done about it other than that. We also enjoyed dessert there - kids had Raspberry sorbet (which had chunks of ice in it) and I had the affagato with salted caramel Gelato.

The food at Apertivo is outstanding. I have never had a bad dish. I love the intimacy of the restaurant. The prices are reasonable and the staff is outstanding. I eat here often and recommend it often. I like that they have something for everyone, meat eaters, vegetarians and even vegans.
