Very rude service, the worst I have ever experienced.
The worst service and attention I have received in a cafe/restaurant in Boulder. Beyond offering good food, it should be accompanied by respectful behavior and attention.
I have been to the restaurant before and enjoyed the food and outside seating. My Son came into town so we went there for lunch. The owner was very curt when we walked inside and told us to go outside side and get a table and wait until she served two other tables. After 10 minutes we decided to leave since my Son needed to get back home. As we were walking away the owner said “what is the problem” and I responded by saying we realized we did not have enough time but would come back again. She respond by saying if we wanted fast food this was not the place. I said we did not want fast food and just did not have enough time. She then responded by saying why did we even bother stopping at her restaurant if we wanted fast food. I told the owner, again, we did not want fast food which then prompted her to say there is a Chipotle fast food chain down the street and that is where we should go. My family and I were totally stunned that an owner of a business would act like this, especially in front of other customers. This is totally unacceptable and unwarranted behavior. Unfortunate but seems to align with some other reviews.
Absolutely amazing, fresh, home cooked food. Can’t wait to go back! Best food ever!
Hands-down, the best hummus and chai tea I have ever had. The chicken Shawarma plate was delicious -I will definitely be back.
Amazing food and love the I ❤️ Gaza sticker!
Good Food, Horrible Service – Embarrassing Experience
Like many others have said, the food here is good—but the service from the female owner is shockingly rude. I had never been here before, so I asked a simple question about how things worked. Instead of a normal response, she snapped at me, saying, “This isn’t fast food, you need to be patient.” I was polite and calm, so I was completely caught off guard by her attitude.
Throughout our meal, she continued to be unbelievably rude. At one point, she barked at us for having an empty to-go coffee cup on the table, saying, “We don’t allow outside items.” We explained that it was empty and we hadn’t seen a trash can, but she just rolled her eyes and told us to keep our trash.
I had brought my mom, who was visiting, and it was beyond embarrassing to take her to a place where we were treated so poorly. I can’t believe this restaurant is still in business with service like this. Never again.
The chicken special today was delicious and looked beautiful as well ! :)
Quality fresh offerings. We enjoyed the grape leaves, spinach pie, baba, and Sharma chicken

Been going here with my family since I was a kid. Manal makes the best food ever. And works so hard to run her own business while delivering high quality fresh food. The best food in the US!
Amazing middle eastern food - perfect spot for lunch. Will definitely be back!
Best food in Boulder, and great coffee/chai too. Awesome little shop run and staffed by great people. Vegetarian and vegan options

We loved our food and the desserts are an absolute must! Best baklava I’ve ever had. The lentil soup was delightful and my spouse enjoyed the sampler platter. We would definitely go back.

MIND BLOWN it was soooo wonderful!! Reminded me of New York or Europe or San Francisco. Cute and intimate and cozy. And the food was incredible. The chicken and the tiramisu and the baklava are exceptional. And the owner and chef was so funny and interactive, and just so incredibly passionate about food. There’s definitely another place in Boulder like this.
