Used to be a big fan of Mr. Query. Got charged a “service charge” at the Post in Longmont, that does not go to ANY of the staff. Personally, I don’t support even the ones that do. Why would I subsidize a successful corporate chain? Especially one that is essentially mediocre through it’s holdings? I hope Big Red F gets alot of use of my money in this instance-as that is the last cent of it they will ever see after last night

My mom had purchased a couple $100 gift cards for Christmas last year and they each came with a promotional $20 gift card that she forwarded to me via email. There was zero information in the email about any sort of expiration date (since when do gift cards have an expiration date?) so imagine my surprise when it was time to handle the bill and I click through the email to open the gift card only to find that they had both expired months ago... I called and spoke with Lisa who explained that a refund would be "difficult" because it was a promotion used to increase post-holiday restaurant attendance. That all makes sense but the fact that there was zero information about that in the email shows a pretty significant lack of foresight on their part. She did end up sending me a $25 gift card to help out which was appreciated but still quite frustrating after a $130 tab at the restaurant. I understand that profit margins at restaurants are already razor thin but this whole ordeal left a sour taste in my mouth.

I never thought I would find myself working in a restaurant... I literally joined this group via the back door one night when a dishwasher no call no show and have been with them ever since. Yes, with every corporate group there can be shenanigans every now and then, but I have had a great overall positive experience.I've only had to get in contact with these offices just a few times but I've always been helped and the staff is absolutely on point and awesome.Employee perks are amazing. Coorporate all-staff parties have been off the hook.The owner knows me by name and that says something. Long live the raccoons.

Went to Jax tonight at Cherry Creek. It was awesome. Best service I've had in ANY restaurant in the last three years. Food was fantastic as well. It's really a gem of a place.
