this is a very unique venue that is presented in the rural area near Longmont Colorado. The staff all has an obvious emotional and intellectual buy in That makes it feel like you're one of the family and more than a welcome guest, but someone who belongs for the short time that you're there. Our magical night at Black Cat was worth every penny. The ambiance cannot be beat—sitting in our own cozy glass cabana complete with wood-burning stove. We were treated like family with shared information about the food, how it was sourced and prepared. About that food...FABULOUS!
It makes me so happy that places like Black Cat exist and that we can occasionally afford to enjoy them. A true farm, people who love food, and the opportunity to try many things in an atmosphere that feels special. We weren't sure about booking this late in the season but we had a mild night, our little private dining hut had a wood burning stove, and we were cozy. A wonderful assortment of appetizer bites was set for us when the wine was opened. There was plenty of time...
