I really don't like when you have to ask for and can't add your own honey or alternative milk. They keep it behind the counter and won't let you add it yourself. I don't like it because they can't get the amount just as I like it. And when I'm paying this much for coffee I want it just right. Additionally, this "extra service" came with a bit of attitude. Not like "sure, I'd be happy to help you" but more of a feel of "really?"....
Their coffee is delicious, beautiful cafe, but the staff is not very friendly, especially in the morning when they are not at all busy. They act tired and irritated. I understand being tired in the morning, but this has been my experience every single morning I have come in. The layout makes them very visible and everyone can hear when they express annoyance. They also seem to pick and choose whose name they want to say out loud clearly and who they want to ignore when coffee...
