BRU handbuilt ales & eats

Man, this place is a hidden gem. My wife and I ate here on a whim and we are glad we did. The beer flight was good. We chose our favorite beers after trying the flight. The food was really good and full of flavor. I highly recommend the corn fritters and the calamari. Our favorite beers were the 5290 and the Nitro Irish Stout.

Saturday April 19 2020 we picked up 2 “make it yourself “ scrumptious pizza kits (Puttenesca & pepperoni) & a growler of Obitus Brown Ale (one of Bru’s many exceptional beers) my husband and I vote “best dinner since Quarantine”!!!

Good food. Tasty beers. Wood fired oven. Went during the week for lunch and there were only a few people there. Had the Bahn Mi sandwich and Nitro Irish Stout. Both were delicious! Will definitely go back to try more beers and food.

We came to a late lunch on a Saturday and we were fairly quickly. We ended up waiting a while until someone first came to take our order. This was the only negative.But the food was great. All you can eat kbbq. I would definitely go again and keep getting the beef bulgogi, pork bulgogi, spicy pork and french fries over and over. It was delicious!

Poor experience, wings were incredibly salty, pizza was super greasy as well as the burger. Used to be good, seems like the owner doesn’t care anymore.

I keep coming back for the burgers. Seriously one of the tastiest burgers around!

love the food! it was so nice to chat with my friend! and see her and me and hubby loved the Bur pizza! and the marshmallow chocolate pizza! out of this world!

This spot always delivers. They serve fresh food for convenient prices, there no long wait even when they are packed.

Bru is a perfect after work happy hour venue. The decor and vibe of the place is very casual and relaxed. I enjoy the seat your self philosophy here, which is supported by kind and attentive waitstaff. Bru is the perfect spot if you are in the mood for beer / cocktails / wine accompanied by friends and good brewpub food.

The slowest place ever, we had to wait for pizza over 40 minutes, no one even came up to us during that time. And the food wasn't even good

Here on a Friday night after a loooong work week. Looked forward to a simple relaxing tasty meal and drinks, but BRU fell short this time, as it did the last. My husband had the Korean style pork shoulder. Huge portion, totally dry. The kimchi fried rice was greasy. I had the kale Caesar with shrimp. Shrimp was plentiful but overcooked and the charred kale was chewy and FULL of grit. Literally every bite. And the polenta croutons were mealy. Charred cauliflower small plate was just basically almost-raw cauliflower with some black marks on it. The beer is always good and the pizzas look incredible, maybe that’s the thing to order? Stay away from the rest of the menu. Service was adequate and kitchen staff in the open kitchen look like they work really hard.

Got to say, found some confusion in my style guide of brew classification. But really a quality place with rocking calimari. Been popping in one every couple of months for years now, and feel the tidal influences if a collage town take its toll on this quality brewery. Menu is reliable as the sun. Good and great selections. Always look forward to recommending Bru. Great place

We stop at Bru for beer every couple weeks. They have a nice happy hour with great beer and prices. We usually get an appetizer which is where there is a problem. last time we were there we got the Bahn Mi "sandwich" for $5. We'd gotten one a few weeks back and it was delicious and a good value. This time it was incredibly small and had hardly any meat and very little kimchi especially compared to the first one. This is not the first time we've had issues with portion size and ingredients with several appetizers. We will continue to visit for the beer but will probably pass on the food - eat before.

Solid beer selection. The saison was great.

Really good food. Great service. Easy drinking beers. Very worthy.
