We had a lovely time. It was a unique and cozy atmosphere and the food was delicious. The waitress answered questions and made suggestions for wine and tapas. The seafood pailla we received was a little overcooked. But tapas and drinks were perfection. They seem to have some affordable and fun specials, posted on OT.
Strange and unpleasant dining experience. Our desire to move to an empty table closer to the fire rather than being by the toilets turned the waitress hostile, and after 25 mins of being actively ignored, I asked her if we could get a waiter, and was angrily told there were only two waiters and then ignored for 10 more minutes (we were the only table without service in the whole restaurant with people who came after us already on their first course before we got a waiter, so it...
PERFECT New Year's Eve at Cafe Aion. While the 4 course NYE special was very enticing we decided to have the WEDNESDAY paella and bottle of Spanish wine special. Such an inviting and warm staff and ambience. While many Boulder dining restaurants set time limits and hefty upfront cancel fees within 24 hours of dining, Cafe Aion shines above them all with a true Spanish cafe feel.
