I almost walked by, thinking it was just a take-out spot. The food is fine, and the service is attentive and friendly.

Amazing food!!! Perfectly prepared chicken, salmon, brussel sprouts to die for - loved it. Friendly, attentive service. Clearly seems like a favorite with locals.

Food is absolutely fantastic! Service was excellent as well. Little bit dark and small, but the vibe is great. We walked in with 11 in our party and they rocked it! Thank 😊 you Cafe Blue for your hospitality and giving us a favorite new place!
Before moving to Boulder, I lived in Los Angeles and in New York City, where I profesionally reviewed hotels and restaurants. I learned about Cafe Blue from a business associate in Boulder. At first I was pleased with this place, but then found the chef totally devoted to his drinking buddies who hung out at the bar. In Los Angeles, I worked closely with a producer of my work who's a connoisseur. She believes that chefs are the kindest of all professionals, because they so much want to please their clients. She introduced me to the great chef Michel Richard in LA. At Cafe Blue, the chef often chats with those at the bar, without acknowledging his other patrons, which creates a heirarchal caste-like atmosphere. Previously a waiter had said the chef wouldn't make a poached salmon after making that dish many times for us. I was shocked when after dining here many times, I brought a business associate with me, and this chef then refused to serve us without any explan-ation. Considering the poor service and unkindness of the chef, I will never return to this restaurant.
Came herw during our trip to Boulder, Co. Beautiful place with amazing food and very nice Service
Another beautiful dinner tonight at Café Blue. Every time I’m in Boulder, this spot is an absolute must. The service—from the staff to the bar to the kitchen—is consistently outstanding. Tonight, I treated myself to the 8oz filet special, and it was so perfectly prepared I wanted to personally thank the chef. I ended up sharing it with the table because I couldn’t believe how tender and flavorful it was—truly melt-in-your-mouth. I’ll be coming back again and again.
Love the food. Loved the wait staff. Highly recommend

Worst restaurant ever. Got food poisoning and the owner is the rudest person ever.

Stumbled on this place while traveling through Denver - it has a nice feel to it and the service was good. Had the firecracker shrimp to start and the beef short rib stacked enchiladas - both were awesome! One of the best meals I've had - don't let the location dissuade you. Make sure to stop by while in Denver. Highly recommended!

Saltado was a little plain, but the Italian dishes were on point. Carne asada tacos weren’t bad.
Surprisingly good food for Colorado!

The food was good yet a bit spendy. Over $18 for a Santa Fe chicken salad and...wait for it...FIVE BUCKS for a soft drink!!!
