Had dinner after a hike and it was one of the best meals we have had in Boulder. Had a table on the front porch with fabulous views. Definitely recommend it.
Ordered the chicken and waffles- the chicken was too sweet and not crunchy because it was drenched in honey. The waffle was delicious though with the maple butter and bacon. Paid $2 for eggs and got one singular egg which was disappointing. The portion was also small. My aunt ordered soup- $5 for a small cup of soup and a tuna salad. They were out of tuna so she had to substitute salmon. We had multiple servers throughout the meal and none seemed happy to be there.
Went here for a rehearsal dinner and the food and service were great! Parking is limited, so be prepared to walk a bit. The bar has a lot of great drink options!
The park and views around the dining hall are spectacular. The French toast and the fresh blueberry spritz were both amazing. The French toast was one of the best I have ever hard. It was evident that the ingredients used are fresh.
Of course, the views are stunning, especially in the spring summer and fall when seated outside. The interior is charming and historic. However, as for the food, it’s awful. My bison burger looked like it had grease poured over it, no dressing on the salad, though the waiter insisted it was there. After getting a serviceable replacement burger, I watched my wife thread through any fresh piece of lettuce in her sorry salad. The chicken was questionable, as if fried, frozen, and then re-warmed. The staff was working hard but, they were apparently understaffed and overworked.
My advice, have a glass of wine or a beer and enjoy the view.
We used Chautauqua Dining Hall for our wedding reception, and they did not disappoint. We chose their Brisket and Rosemary Chicken as our proteins, and boy, we had people talking about them for days! Their servers were very attentive and made sure the bride and groom had a plate and drink made for them as soon as they walked in. Our personal bartender also did an amazing job keeping our intimate reception hydrated and perfected our Pisco Sours. We would recommend Chautauqua Dining Hall to anyone looking for an amazing and well-put-together event!
We had a lovely brunch here at one of the two dog friendly outside tables. Attentive service and free flowing coffee. The homemade tater tots were absolutely incredible!
Food was tasty. Elk sausage and French Toast VERY GOOD. Tots ok, Beignets were good. Little pricey but the view of the mountains is PHENOMENAL!
Very conveniently located next to the trail. Service is great and food is really tasty. Presentation is good. We had Smoked Salmon Benedict and chautauqua burger both were very tasty highly recommended they even split the dishes for us
We had a really nice time going to the holiday tea time as a family. We made reservations for tea time earlier in the year, knowing we would need time to align 4 people's schedules.
The tea began with beverages including an offer of Prosecco. The waiter confirmed our dietary restrictions (one vegetarian in the group). Prosecco was followed by a shot glass of hot butternut squash soup with apples and arugula. Hot water was delivered next and we selected our teas.
The next thing to arrive was the three-tiered serving stand with scones and asparagus wrapped in phillo dough (with or without prosciutto) on the top layer. The second layer had chicken salad sandwiches on croissants, a pear hibiscus treat on toast and cucumber sandwiches. The third tier is the dessert one - it had a gingerbread cake with the most delicious honey something garnish, a mint mousse and a little lemon tart.
I am surprised at how full I still am from eating lots of little foods - they were delicious and I'm grateful they had vegetarian options.
The location is amazing, check out their website for history and details. This is absolutely a place you'll want to take someone you plan to impress or pamper.

If you order 6 servings of brussel sprouts, they'll look at you funny, but they'll do it. Every brussel sprout I ate was great! Certainly a Top 10 Destination for brussel sprout lovers all over the world.
