Extensive and unique menu. The steamed combo dumpling and stuffed chicken wing are a must try. Frog leg curry dish that was very good as well. Short staffed but service makes sure everyone is taken care of. The atmosphere is cozy and a great place to warm up on a cold night.

This is a must-visit restaurant in Boulder, and I always order Vietnamese spring rolls. His special sauce is so delicious.

We had great service and enjoyed the food. I noticed a problem with the credit card payment, and I had to call the restaurant the next week. The manager was understanding and immensely helpful. We will be going back next time we're in Boulder.

This place was just straight-up awful.
-Overpriced food that was incredibly bland
-Overly-fried chicken to the point that it made me sick afterwards
-The worst sake I've ever tasted (that we had to send back)
-The green tea just tasted like hot water
The list goes on and on, there are too many issues here to even list them all.
Also.. why is EVERYTHING in this restaurant sticky? The forks were sticky, the tables were sticky, the menu was sticky, the booth was sticky. Please clean your restaurant.
Absolutely nasty from start to finish. All I wanted to do was wash my hands afterwards.

Service with a Scowl: just revisited, having forgotten the customary brusk, abrupt service by the standard one lady (young male servers are nice) server today. She could not look more upset and hurried in her job. Portion was aversge; smaller kung pao than I remember (chicken skimping). May just not go back.

The server acted like she didn't even want us there. It was strange how she treated us. The person cleaning up the tables and who brought our water, the bus person, was absolutely amazing.

Big portion. Understaffed. Decent taste but the sauce is often a bit on the sweet side. Our favorite is the stuffed chicken wings.

The food is absolutely amazing, and their Thai boba is the best in town. Just don't do what I do and walk in every now and then and just order boba. I'm almost always too short on cash to get food and I get the vibe that either the staff worry for me or that they feel hurt that I don't order food more. Either that or it's just that Thai boba is notoriously hard to prepare right. Love this place and love the staff. The atmosphere is stellar.
Parking: If you don't mind walking a few hundred feet than don't worry about parking at all.

We had the worst experience we have ever had in a restaurant at Chez Thuy yesterday with our family. One of the dishes we were served was not what we ordered, and the waitress (owner?) argued with us at length instead of offering to make it right in any way. From the start I tried to be polite and just to get it right. But she was incredibly rude, arrogant and insulting. We had ordered a green peanut curry dish with basil. The dish we were served was not curry, had no peanuts or basil. When I pointed those discrepancies out, she was condescending and asked “Oh, so you want basil?” I finally handed her the dish and asked to see the menu again. By the time we were served the second dish the other family members had long since finished their food. I would avoid this restaurant like the plague and go ANYWHERE else in Boulder. You’ll save yourself a lot of trouble have a much better time. Do not give them your business.
