I've always been impressed by my visits here. The vegetables are plentiful, portions large, meat well cooked. The menu is big and I've enjoyed everything I've had.

Lady (presumed owner) was belittling her employee very shamefully and loudly in the lobby. Very rude. She started crying. It’s her 2nd day. So horrible to see.

Not sure what happened, this place used to have the best pho but the last 2 years I've had the worst pho ever here. The service has always been unique, but the food was outstanding. I've been back enough to know it's not an 'off night'. Flavorless broth, frozen tasteless shrimp, noodles in a clump or mushy. Lukewarm appetizers. It's sad, but I think I'll be giving other places a chance from this point on.

Chez Thuy is a Boulder mainstay, and a really great place for Vietnamese and Asian food. It's cozy and service is great. The food is consistently fresh. It's a family favorite.

Great service. Food was excellent as usual. This restaurant has been one of our favorites for decades and we try to visit whenever we are in town.

Nothing getting mixed as excited food wise as this restaurant. Not to mention all the iconic restaurants disappearing from Boulder and yet this restaurant still stands on 28th St., after like 35 years. Go in and if you don’t almost lose control of yourself. Wow trying to grasp this 15 page menu of madness that spans across Eurasia then I would be impressed and mayo you a beer. They’re crispy duck legs keep me up at night. I don’t get the same thing every time or you’re really just not living life. Go to this restaurant every time and pick something different. Explore the culture.

Easily the best Chinese food in Boulder. Epic wonton soup with vegetables - best ever. All the entrees are great, eg good old beef with broccoli. A Boulder institution, and you will often see Thuy herself. Highly recommended.
