I like to support local businesses, and today I tried to do just that. I walked into to grab a drink, and noticed no one at the counter. I proceeded closer to the counter and noticed the employee eating and sitting talking with someone. She turned around looked at me, and turned back around to continue her conversation. There was no greeting to acknowledge me whatsoever. I will admit I was adjacent to the register, but still very close to it.
A lady walked in right after me and went to the register. She was immediately greeted with “Hello, how can I help you?”
I asked the worker are you not going to acknowledge me? Her exact words were “you order over here.”
I let her know that I had never been there before and was not aware. I also made sure to let her know that she didn’t even acknowledge me, when I came into the shop, other than to turn around and then go back to her conversation. I stated that it was not very professional and lacked customer service. I was very polite when speaking. Her response to this was “I don’t know if you’ve been here before.” Very flippantly, I might add.
The guest, in line, was also shocked and asked if I wanted to go ahead and order. I declined said thank you and left the store.
I highly suggest better training staff on interactions with customers and potential customers. I have worked in the service industry and I don’t believe the customer is always right. I do believe in being polite and courteous, and try my best to extend this to anyone with whom I come in contact. Today, that common courtesy was not extended to me while in your establishment.
I hope the next person who comes to your location is treated better, whether that standing in the correct place to order or not.

My go-to spot for good coffee and good vibes. It's like Cheers but there's more espresso and it's earlier (or later?) in the morning. Best owners too. Love them. ✨✨✨✨✨
The coffee is delicious and smooth with absolutely no burnt taste. There’s a huge variety of flavorings and they have alternative milk choices. The pastries are also very good - I’ve had both muffins and croissants and I have not been disappointed.
The service is awesome. Everyone is so sweet and patient. Also, the latte art is beautiful.
It’s dangerous that this coffee shop is in walking distance of my office. I’ve stopped in 3 times in the last week after deciding to give it a try. I’m so caffeinated now!
