Curtis Park Deli - Boulder

I found this place desperately looking for coffee, unfortunately no warm coffee here. But amazing sandwiches, My European tastebuds had a feast, the bread is delicious, the right consistency for a perfect bite. It is really hard to see the shop and looks like it is closed, looks dark and hard to spot. You should make yourself seen better

Does this look like an 18 dollar sandwich? There’s literally a 60 cent piece of meat and rest is all lettuce. I don’t recommend eating here.

Really poor customer service experience at the boulder location. Ordered a sandwich. Order was accepted. Then I was texted it was ready. I get to the location and there is a sign directly behind the closed door, with the lights off stating they are closed and out of bread. I walk away dissapointed about the prospect of not having my food I counted on and having to chase the credit card payment. Fast forward thirty minutes and I get a call from Curtis Deli saying my sandwich is ready, when am I going to come pick it up (it's 3:30pm and they close at 4). Zero advanced communication from the business about my sandwich being ready despite the closed appearance. How does she make it right? An apology and a credit card refund. She should have either offered to deliver it or given me a free sandwich on them for next time. This was completely their fault and they did nothing to right the wrong. Will be a while before I go back. Honestly the quality of the meats and cheeses are nothing special and the ratios vary drastically. Over condimenting is common.

Response to owner's response: There's nothing confusing about the sequence of events: I ordered. The order was accepted. I was texted the order is ready. I show up. There is a sign directly behind the front door stating you are out of bread, closed and you'll see us tomorrow. The lights were off. I did not attempt to open a door I presumed was locked based on the sign. Please check the video feed. I'm out my time, gas and effort. You are out the sandwich ingredients and labor. The employee never asked how she could make it right. It was poor communication on your company's part. The only reason they called me was because they wanted to go home. They weren't out front of house when you were supposedly "open" that's for sure, because they would have seen be and waved me in. I would love to talk on the phone and you can tell me how you think this is how you think online orders should be handled and how grievenences should be handled.

I could (and often do) eat these sandwiches multiple times per week. So good, so consistent. The staff and owner are always amazing, friendly and remember my order. We love this place!!

Updating my review and really hoping the franchise owners see this! The sandwiches were (still can be) really delicious when they first opened up! Lately though the bread has been stale each time we get something, and recently the sandwiches have been really salty. If the people preparing the sandwiches made them with a little more care and attention, the food would go back to being delicious again.. we used to come by 1 or more times a week for lunch but now we are thinking it

Love this deli! They use lots of tasty fresh ingredients, I am obsessed with their bread, and are very timely in completing online orders. I also love that they do not skimp on ingredients, nothing makes me more disappointed in a restaurant when I pay good money and barely get any food in my order. I have tried the other locations and the Boulder one is the best by far! Very friendly staff, clean store and fantastic quality for the price.

Parking: You need to go around to the back of the building to a parking garage that has free parking for the businesses. Not super hard to find, but definitely helpful since there is no street parking in front of the store.
