I ate here once in the past, had to come back with my girlfriend. When I came in on Wednesday, although the restaurant seemed short staffed and took a while to get our food, our server Che was attentive and kept us updated, which made the experience worthwhile

Sadly, we had four plates that were dry (tortilla), salty (ratatouille), oily (mushrooms) and mushy (paella)… disappointing $80 with tip and no drinks!

I give two and not one star for a few positives like the friendly welcome and wood fire oven. But unfortunately we had a negative experience here.
The food was very disappointing, except the bread which was good. Bolognese was likely the worse I ever had (overcooked pasta and sauce splashed on it on the plate rather than finishing the pasta cooking in the same pan with sauce like you’re supposed to be doing), the pizza was greasy and hard to digest.
The service also needs improvements. Our waiter overcharged us giving us regular rather than happy hour prices, and then he was like ‘if you’d like me to I can go fix it’, like it’s something I should ask for and it’s an inconvenience for him (not to mention the fact we didn’t actually order the bread but we were still charged for it, which I didn’t even mention to him).
Also they can’t serve alcohol because of something with their license. That’s fine for us, but later made think that this place really needs to get its ducks in a row and change a lot of what is doing to stay in business. We won’t return.

Are they even open? I called several times (during their posted open hours) and they never answered.

I must point out that as of September 22, 2025 Dagabi is under review, and therfore, without their liquor license. I didn't dine although I wanted to based on the Happy Hour menu as reviewed in a photo posted, (dud link on an android maybe apple 🤷). All that said I will try again. I hope the best for Dagabi, and for a quick review of their LL request, and issuance to help regain a full Happy Hour menu.

We’ve been coming here for years and the food has always been superb. Tonight, however, it was absolutely subpar/terrible. My husband ordered calamari and the Spanish torte and both were ice cold when they were served. I ordered the meatball and it was too salty and rubbery and I regrettably ate about half of it. Our kids each ordered a pizza and both came out looking like they were premade or from a box. They both said their pizza was tasteless and the crust was tough. On top of that, the restaurant appears to have lost their liquor license. I’m not sure what happened to this place. It has been one of our family’s favorites through the years but I’m not sure we’ll be back. We gave this feedback to the staff in hopes that it would be delivered to the chef or manager (apparently neither were working tonight). I hope this restaurant gets their act together, otherwise I can’t imagine this restaurant will stay in business much longer.

We went for dinner during happy hour, the seafood stew and linguinie was delicious, we finished the meal with perfect tiramisu.

Great service atmosphere and food. We reminisced about our time in Spain while we enjoyed the patio.

God where to start… took a friend out to dinner for her bday and were really excited after looking at the menu and positive reviews. Biggest. Catfish. EVER!!!
We initially tried to order a bottle of wine after being seated only to be told they were no longer serving alcohol and that we should have been told when making the reservation. Would have appreciated the heads up about the alcohol because we would have planned to go somewhere else… but I suppose that’s why we weren’t told?

After being denied wine, our server offered to bring bread with our waters. Bread was good but we were surprised to discover it was not actually complimentary when we were charged for it at the end of the meal. Why would you not mention this?? Shady business practices to make an extra buck.

We ordered mussels which were god awful. I have never eaten something that tasted exactly like how the ape exhibit at the zoo smells. Who knows if they were just a bad batch or totally spoiled. If we get through this experience sans food poisoning it will be a gd miracle.

After the mussels were sent back, we pressed on and tried the chicken croquetas. Mistake. They came out fast enough to make us wary and we were right to be so. Centers were cold and one had a hair stuck in it. They also tasted like they came from the frozen section at your local gas station and were just stuck in the microwave for 30 seconds.

After this we gave up. I could go on but what’s the point. We feel scammed and duped by this entire experience. I would not be surprised if they were buying positive reviews to bury the negative ones. It’s a shame because it seems like at one point this was a great place, but don’t waste your time or money. Speaking of money, we want ours back.

We were catfished. Out-of-towners that wanted to bring our local friend to a less obvious neighborhood spot for her birthday, quickly realized that the new management is still benefiting from a positive online presence. No alcohol, which we were not informed of until we tried to order wine from the menu (don’t be fooled by the review from 2 days prior that praised the wine selection??), immediately offered bread that we found out later was just another menu item, stale pizza, smelly mussels (sent back and taken off the bill), cold croquettes. Left hungry. No live music, as advertised on the website. Just update your stuff and be honest.

Large party of 10 had dinner on 4/5/25 and all of our meals and tapas were excellent. Restaurant is not too loud which is nice. Friendly servers. Bar service a bit slow, but drinks were very good. Ample parking which is tough in Boulder. Definitely recommend!

The food here is fantastic, and the service is great. The pork skewers are totally amazing. The homemade linguini, calamari, mussels, shrimp are all great. And happy hour prices are very reasonable

Food is awesome, staff is nice, BUT this place has the WORST and MOST uncomfortable hybrid bar chairs/stools I’ve ever sat on. My friend gets cramps from them and they are so heavy and bulky and cramped together that it’s hard to move them. Did Elon design these hybrid bar stool chairs?
