My dad has been taking me to Dots for several decades now, it is our family tradition. It’s a classic Boulder institution and the very best of what a local diner should be. Reasonable prices, friendly staff, yummy food. Whether you want a classic diner breakfast with a giant buttery biscuit or spicy authentic chai tea and curry, you can’t miss. I always get one of the special omelettes on the board with hash browns and a biscuit.

Incredible home style food with great portions, prices, and flavor. Our meal for two and some extra sides with coffee was only $45. We just got back from Idaho springs breakfast diner and were extremely dissatisfied and spent $70 so we really appreciate DOTS for being local! Highly recommend!

This is the Vegetarian AM Sandwich. It has AVACADO! SO Good! The potatoes aka hashbrowns, are the best! Homemade biscuit do divine. Anything in Dots menu is DELICIOUS cause they have CHEFS here! Shhh only for locals. 😆😋🤩

I am surprised this place isn't packed. The food is awesome, the service impeccable, and the atmosphere elegant.
One of my regular breakfast haunts - mostly due to the food & pricing. Very casual place. The staff are friendly, albeit often in short supply - so service can be slow. Fun atmosphere, good for couples & families. Daily specials & basic espresso drinks.
Vegetarian options: I'm a lifelong veggie and have no problem finding a large variety of things to eat (No vegan specific menu items)
Parking: It's a popular place, so the parking lot is almost always packed; but I've never not been able to get a space: it just takes a couple minutes.
Kid-friendliness: Great place for kids, e.g. booths, casual, outdoor seating.

Delicious and large gluten free pancakes. Well worth the trip to this quaint diner. Perfect place for a relaxing breakfast, especially early in the morning. Note that they have a well-stocked menu and several dishes can be made gluten free… with NO up charge.
