My absolute FAVORITE hidden gem in Boulder. The food is always fresh and delicious, service is fun and friendly, and seems like the owner is almost always there checking in on everyone to make sure they are enjoying themselves. 10/10!

I’ve typically enjoyed the food at Fringe, which makes this review hard to write, but our experience tonight was honestly unacceptable. We were a party of 6 arriving at 8:00 PM (an hour before close), and we were the only table in the entire restaurant. Despite being the only customers, the service was a comedy of errors.

We called 20 minutes prior to arrival to confirm they could accommodate two vegans in our party. We were told they had a lentil soup available. This was the reason we chose Fringe this evening. Once seated, we asked the server to double-check with the kitchen just to be safe. They did, came back, and confirmed it was vegan. When the bowls came out, it was chicken soup. While they did comp the soups, serving meat to vegans after three separate confirmations (phone, server, kitchen) is a major oversight.

The entrees were arguably worse. My parents ordered two Chicken Parmesans but were served Eggplant Parmesan instead. To top it off, another guest in our party ordered the Eggplant Parmesan pasta, and it never came out at all.

If the restaurant had been packed, I might understand some confusion, but with an empty dining room, there is no excuse for getting almost half the table’s orders wrong. The kitchen clearly has talent when the right food arrives, but the communication and service tonight were the worst we’ve experienced in Boulder. There was no comp of getting the Eggplant Parms wrong, and didn't really get a meaningfully apology for missing a dish.

Sad - food is good, staff requires training. We probably will take our guests elsewhere for now.

Today was my first visit, and it definitely won’t be my last. The pizza was incredible! It was freshly made, loaded with toppings, and full of flavor. The drinks were just as impressive! Everyone went above and beyond, you can truly tell they care about their customers. I highly recommend this place, and I can’t wait to come back!

We came from Aurora today and were impressed! Not only was the owner welcoming and accommodating for our family, the food was delicious. Selection of beer and wines on tap were also great. 5 stars!!

Landing in Boulder on a Monday night, not too many options, but the pizzas at Fringe were good and vegan cheese available. We had veggie and eggplant parm pizza. Not sure if the crispy eggplant actually had parm, but that was the better pizza IMHO. Ask for the hot pepper sauce - it is seriously hot!

Excellent across the board. They were able to accommodate our party of 20 with just 3ish hours notice. Service was fantastic; food was delicious. We had almost all the appetizers on the menu; the crispy Brussel sprouts were my favorite. I really liked my crab cakes; my husband’s Mahi Mahi was even better. Those who ordered pizzas in our party had nothing but good things to say. Thanks so much for serving our large group!

This place makes you cut your own pizza with worn out office scissors. Embarrassing no. Everyone working there seems like they hate life and would prefer to be literally anywhere else. Not their fault, I’m sure they’re all underpaid. Spend your money somewhere else!

This is my favorite place to have pizza 🍕 They also have delicious 😋 appetizers and everything else. Always coming back and never experiencing any disappointment.
