the food is great. i love the chicken tikka masala and the raita. on that note, it is so slow and very expensive for what it is. there is much better indian food for less than half the price. i’m not saying it’s not delicious, it almost always is, but it’s just too expensive for what is ultimately pretty mid range indian food. and id also like to mention that it seems the employees have no sense of urgency whatsoever, a trip to gaia masala means you’ll be there for 30-45 mins minimum just to wait for your food, even if you call it in 30 mins before you plan to pick it up. you’ll still be waiting awhile.

Highly recommend the carrot pudding dessert. Hot and made fresh. Philly was good, same with the lamb fries. favorite thing so far has been their chicken tikka masala calzone. Nice outdoor seating. Halal. Huge portions for very affordable prices
I went around 11pm on a Saturday night. It was pretty full of South Asians (a good sign) and a mix of CU Boulder students. I ordered a lamb wrap for my son and a vegan tofu biryani, mild spice, for myself, to go. The biryani was very spicy for mild (and I have a high spice tolerance) and very basic, just rice and tofu with cashews, no vegetables. It was not bad, especially for a late night spot. My son loves his wrap and fries. My food did take FOREVER though, everyone who ordered after me was severed before me… I think it’s because most people ordered the burgers and pizza which are fast compared to my biryani.
The baklava wasn’t very good.. it was kinda stale and tasted store bought. But then again, I know good, authentic baklava. 🤷🏻♀️
I also had a mango lassi. It was DELICIOUS and tasted exactly how it should.
Overall, this is a good spot for late night eats. They are open until 3am, which is amazing for Colorado. I’m grateful that they have vegan and vegetarian options.
I will definitely be back after a show.

This place ROCKS. this is the best food in Boulder. This conception of Indian American Mediterranean fusion is so weird and extremely good. I got the chicken tikka masala cheesteak and it was upsetting how good it was. How have I never been here before?

Tasty food! my family was starving after moving my kid into CU and we have no complaints. We shared the Masala pizza, masala burger, Philly fries and chicken shawarma, all were delicious. Also, the guys working there are just awesome.

Interesting choice of burgers. But be aware of spices. Very dominant flavor of curry and if you don’t like spicy food ask for mild spices.
