Walked in and walked out. Saw a literal waterfall coming through a hole in the ceiling from the snow melt, tried to give it a shot anyways went and about to sit down and there was a strong smell of stagnant old mop water In a bucket close to the table, and left the building. Hope they update the interior asap. I would be embarrassed for my customers.

I usually don’t do reviews but this time I feel like I need to do it. What a horrible experience I had today. I took my parter to Ihope stmt Boulder even if we live in Longmont cause I like that location. But this time what I saw it was just this person saying bad things so loud to the people in the kitchen, his name tag say Wilbert I believe and it says he is an assistant manager, he was saying bad things thing talking in Spanish to the employees, I speak Spanish so I could understand everything he was saying, he was making faces while they were saying something and he just ignored them, our server was so friendly if it wasn’t for her I would never come back to this location but it was getting busy and she ask him for help with tables and he said he didn’t want it any tables and sit down and ignored her, while she was with all the tables full on her side. At the end we ask if we can spin the wheel so she call him he says nothing and stay siting doing nothing so we wait for like 10 min until he stoped doing nothing so he came like he didn’t wanted to be there, what a bad attitude and bad management, I’m just really disappointed this is happening. Persons in charge being disrespectful with employees and customers and nobody cares.

The employees really try but the quality of the "food" here is so sketchy. The pancake batter could not possibly have more sugar in it. The bacon actually made me sad.

This review is a month or two late, that is how long it took me to process my 'experience':

The IHOP stands alone on the bleak suburban landscape, a fluorescent beacon of hollow promises. I entered with a heart not filled with hope but with resignation, as if stepping into a Sisyphean nightmare where the gods themselves mocked humanity's unquenchable hunger.

The waitress, her eyes dimmed by years of corporate servitude, handed me a laminated menu that reeked not of possibility but of despair. The photographs of pancakes and syrup were not invitations to joy but spectral images of an unattainable ideal. I ordered coffee, black as the void, and an omelette, though I knew no sustenance awaited me here.

The coffee arrived lukewarm, its flavor reminiscent of rainwater collected from a rusting gutter. The omelette followed, a grotesque parody of nourishment. Its rubbery texture hinted at an unholy process—perhaps a pact with some infernal machine designed to strip food of all vitality. Even the diced ham within seemed to mourn its imprisonment, tiny cubes of meat that spoke of lives unfulfilled.

Around me, families sat in uneasy silence, their faces lit by the cold blue glow of their phones. Children wailed, their cries absorbed by the sticky vinyl seats, as if the restaurant itself fed on their discontent. The air smelled faintly of burnt batter and industrial cleaning agents, a reminder that entropy reigns supreme, even in the realm of breakfast.

At last, I requested the check. The price, though modest, seemed a cruel joke—a monetary exchange not for food but for the experience of existential dread. I left the IHOP not satiated, but hollowed out, a wanderer in a desolate world where even pancakes cannot redeem the human condition.

Sat close to the kitchen and all we could smell was bad B.O coming from the back kitchen..🤢 I ordered the spinach & mushroom omelet which I usually get at the Broomfield location and it's usually delicious. This omelet, something tasted off. Aside from them forgetting to put the hollanday sauce I could tell something wasn't right. Felt sick for almost three days straight after eating there with nausea and severe stomach ache..

There aren't enough stalls in the restroom. I had to cut my visit short because they only had one bathroom stall in the men's room locked behind a damned combo. It was taken and I had to leave the restaurant having not eaten my food in order to fulfill nature's call.

Go elsewhere. This was not a good experience especially for the amount of money that I paid. You've got people in the back yelling arguing about how they're gonna pop off & who said what. that was way too much for me and my family to hear. Also if you're a parent of a small child just be aware that they do not have changing tables in either of the bathrooms and the sinks are too small and filthy for you to change them on. you're gonna have to take them out to your car.

I've been eating at I-Hop for decades. My experience with the I-Hop on 28th in Boulder was acceptable but not exceptional. The waitress was very friendly but did not bring my coffee until the breakfast arrived. My Colorado (Denver?) omelette with Serrano peppers instead of green peppers arrived with cheese sprinkled on it but not melted. There was no trace of either type of pepper, a key ingredient in a Denver omelette. Other than that, the food was good; the waitress even gave me French toast as my side, although only pancakes and regular toast were offered on the menu.
My main complaint is the price. Boulder has an abundance of fancy breakfast restaurants with character and atmosphere. Today, I just wanted a quick breakfast without the $25 price tag typical of those places. Well, my omelette and coffee came to $27.00! My last breakfast at one of those "nice" places (Tangerine, for the locals) was the same price, plus I got an omelette with Portobello mushrooms, a nice latte, in addition to regular coffee later. So, I-Hop, if you can't compete on food, atmosphere and character, at least compete on price!

Waitress Angelina was not only friendly but my order was hot and delicious.
Coffee always piping hot didn't need too much sugar and cream.
Best pancakes ate them all!
