They normally have 2 Vegan breakfast options, one burrito and other is a sandwich on gf bread. They didn't have the sandwich the other day, hoping it was just out temporarily. But the burritos are always excellent with Just Egg, violife cheese & impossible sausage and green chili. They premake these so no way to customize. They also offer all the standard coffee & tea with alternative milk options. Updated from previous review on 2025-04-05
My favorite coffee stop in Boulder! The dirty horchata latte is wonderful, and the breakfast sandwiches are A++
Dietary restrictions: Plenty of vegan and gluten-free options available

Wi-Fi not working across multiple devices, owners super condescending and unsympathetic. Do not recommend.

Excellent lattes, the fresh nutmeg on top was new for me and I am obsessed now! My vegan sandwich was amazing, my boyfriend said his mocha & chocolate croissant were excellent too. Nice baristas highly recommend!

I don’t usually leave coffee shops feeling annoyed, but after a cold greeting and then making me wait for my drink because they either didn’t announce my name or only whispered it in a loud environment when I was barely 10 feet away, I’m a bit annoyed. I’m sure they’re usually great though. Would still come again.

Love coming here! The staff is always so kind and helpful and funny and the coffee is always great, not hit or miss like some other places. The natural light makes it feel really open and fresh, and the plants and balcony/loft seating adds to that open atmosphere. 10/10!! I actively seek this place out even when it’s slightly out of my way!!!

One of my favorite "cortado & focus" cafes. Lovely staff. Finding a table can be tight, but often, we single-riders are happy to share.
Really enjoyed the Breakfast burrito and sandwiches. Good coffee and great vibes.

A great coffee shop with limited but great pastry.
Best coffee in town

The coffee is good, but you will wait at least 10 minutes for a latte. I've never had one come up under 10, regardless of the line.

EDIT 12/13/24 (Changed from 3 to 4 stars)
My husband brought home a to-go latte from January Coffee for me and it was excellent. Smooth well developed flavor and perfect ratios of espresso and milk. He said the barista was a different person this time. “Asian woman in her 40’s wearing a mask” is talented and should be given an accolade!

This place is popular (it’s always crowded) but I don’t recommend it as someone who has been to every coffee shop in Boulder. The lattes have too much milk in them consistently, and their coffee is not strong. The baristas are consistently nice but consistently very slowly. I wait longer here for my coffee than anywhere else. There is basically never any open seating. It’s also quite loud so not ideal for remote work. I would suggest that this coffee shop impose time limits on guests, and either add an extra shot to their drinks or use less milk.
