Living in the South and moving to Colorado, good BBQ is hard to find. Saw the sign & had to try out the bbq.. got chicken, pork & brisket. Everything was fantastic. Love the fact you can sauce it yourself. That way you are in control. The staff working made the experience that much more pleasant. I could go on & on bc when you finally find good eats, you want to tell everyone. However, words can't beat out trying it for yourself.

I knew I was in the wrong when I got there and didn't smell any BBQ. Dryest brisket I've ever had. If you're craving BBQ, go somewhere else in my humble opinion

The only redeeming factor of this restaurant is the relatively cheap price. It was maybe the worst BBQ I've had. The ribs were dry and had a weird texture. The mac and cheese was pretty cold and bland. The cornbread was dry and very bland.

I ordered online from this KT's. Meant to go to the one on Arapahoe. They were understanding and tried to transfer my order. Other location didn't have what I ordered, so they gave me a refund instead within the hour.

If you want a sandwich under 10 bucks this will do, but if you are looking for quality bbq, it’s a pass.

This is the 3rd time I have negatively reviewed this place, and apparently no one cares. I ordered brisket and it was ALL fat and gristle. I wanted to puke. How do you stay open?? Shove some crappy food into a paper bag and hope no one complains?So this is how you treat take out customers? You cannot stand behind this crap you call barbecue. This is horrible and the LAST time I will order from there! Absolutely sucks!

My buddy and I got dog sick from eating their ribs this past weekend. We were SO sick from food poisoning. Both of us just went back to work today. Missed a solid day of work and I will absolutely never be back to this spot. We've never had food poisoning so bad. Locals beware. I had to come on here and let people know, this place is poison.
I've been coming here for many years - every time I visit Boulder I do not fail to stop in once or twice. I'm a big beef brisket fan, and they do it so right. Soft and savory. Delicious choice of BBQ sauces, for all tastes. Their June Bowl with mashed potatoes and brisket is the ultimate comfort food. Great choice of sides - I love their beans. Friendly folks working there. Visit once and this will become one of your can't-miss favorites as well.

Parking: No issues finding parking.

I had a mixed experience at this BBQ Restaurant. The staff were very friendly and helpful, and the sides (beans and mac-n-cheese) were amazing. Oddly, the meats were not very good, which are the backbone of a BBQ Restaurant.
The brisket was chopped and very dry. The ribs were beyond smoked, they were burnt and inedible. The hot links were the only redeeming meat, out of the three meats I ordered. I think with an overhaul on the meat preparation, this could be a good restaurant. Maybe I came on a bad day.

Definitely deserves way higher than a 4.2 rating. Authentic Southern BBQ I’m thrilled to have in Boulder so close to home- awesome for quick dinner and out of town guests.
