Pretty good Hawaiian plate lunch options with generous portions, but overall, we found it a bit bland. The Katsu chicken needed more pizazz, and the curry sauce my husband ordered with his was not anything I would call curry—more like a mild yellow gravy. Once I doused my chicken and rice with soy sauce, they were better. Macaroni salad was good; garden salad pretty lame, with iceberg lettuce and a mushy tomato slice but the cucumber slices were crisp. I might try L&L again—maybe the shrimp next time—but overall, the food was too tepid for my taste. I would also encourage the franchise owner to think about more sustainable options for utensils (we were given a very flimsy plastic fork and knife) and to provide, for dine-in-customers, bottles of soy sauce and sriracha instead of plastic packets.

Really bad service and super bland food.
No frill location with generous portions and pretty solid flavor. I'm a Hawaiian Mac salad snob, and L&L brings it, creamy and just a bit sweet.
Hawaiian fast food has taken off the last few years and it's nice to see we've got another good spot to choose from.

I went here expecting the same food I had in Maui, and I wasn't disappointed. It wasn't exact, but pretty darn close. I love their Kalua Pork and Katsu Chicken. Their Mac salad is excellent as well!

We love L&L BBQ! It reminds us of home. We had an L&L in Dublin, CA where we lived and when we moved here to Boulder we were so happy to find this! Great food! Their macaroni salad is out of this world!

Would have been a 5 star across the board if my food came with more juice on it. I put extra teriyaki on the bowl but it doesn’t hit the same as the sauce that it cooks in

Ordered the Saimin w/ Bbq chicken through Uber Eats. First and last time. The noodles were complete mush…like they’d been sitting in the broth for days. Completely overcooked/overdone. Even the “bbq chicken” was tough and inedible. I ended up giving it to my dog.
The only bright spot about the food is the Hawaiian macaroni salad, which is always good.

Love this place. The portions are insanely big so I always get two meals out of it and everything is always piping hot and delicious.

Downgrading my previous 5-star review, because of SPAM slices on musubis that were pretty clearly sliced and then left to sit for far too long. Please check your dates and reconsider how SPAM is prepared - it really is simple to prepare on a line...
