Nice place. We stopped in for breakfast and a little research on our laptop. We had plenty of room to spread out and accomplish what we hoped.Breakfast & service was great at a fair price. Kinda shocked the place wasn't packed. It's worth a try, I know we'll be back.

Normally this place is good, DO NOT GO HERE unless you have TONS of TIME. It took 1 hour and 15 minutes to get our food. The alternate server claimed we arrived after 2 large tables. In fact we arrived after one large table. The other large table we knew everyone there and they arrived after we did. Our actual sever Lexie was great and I feel bad for her since nothing she could do about the rest of the staff. The alternate server had a terrible attitude.

The service was great and I enjoy the atmosphere. Last time I went there, Ivan was our server, if I remember correctly. He was so nice and helpful on his very first shift, I think.The food is just okay, honestly, but I feel like they can fix that with some menu adjustment. The eggs benedict were good, but the hollandaise was not great.

Mike was our server and he was awesome! Very attentive and he actually cared about our experience! Living on the Western Slope, we don’t have a lot of great experiences when we eat out. Especially in our little town. Most of the time dining at restaurants connected to or within the vicinity of hotels the food and service is marginal at best. I would recommend everyone give it try. The wings were outstanding, the filet was tender and flavorful. I’m no food connoisseur, but was happy we found it! My girls say they would give it ten stars!

Everything is five stars. Excellent food, excellent service, very comfortable atmosphere.Highly recommend bavarian pretzels, barbecue pork sandwich, brisket burrito and green chili. Other items on the menu are very appealing, but these mentioned are so amazing it’s going to be hard for us to switch. Thank you for the exceptional service, Ashley and Heidi. Glad Motherlode is close to our home and look forward to many future visits.

We love going to Motherlode for breakfast. Our favorite waitress, Ellen, makes sure we have everything we need. This morning we celebrated my partner’s birthday with breakfast at Motherlode. He was spoiled with the Steak and Eggs. The steak was very tender and obviously very good quality meat. And, the grits were super yummy and creamy. Be sure to stop by for breakfast on the weekends.

This was our fourth time and all have been above par! We were a party of three couples taking advantage of the Valentine's special. Every one of us commented to each other about the great service Liam provided and the incredible flavor that chef Alex was able to concoct with both the salads and fillets. I can personally say that my steak was the best I have had in over two years. I highly recommend this establishment!

Had breakfast here and was absolutely The best breakfast we've had in Boulder in 8 years. The lemon buttermilk pancake was so good we didn't get a picture before we ate it all. My steak and eggs with red pepper hollandaise was pure perfection. Great kids' options, wonderful service, and no line to get in! Although once people find out how good it is, I'm sure they'll make the drive "all the way out" to Gunbarrel.

We were displaced by the Marshall Wildfire to a hotel and the Motherlode Cafe was right in the parking lot. They were our home away from home for over a week. The Manager/Bartender was outstanding! The food was comforting and we spent many hours there with neighbors and friends. Thank you for being there for us. We will be going back.

Mediocre at best, the meat was not much more than warm. And a bit fatty. My side dish was hotter. Service was fair, although I was not asked how my meal was, kinda odd as I had a plate of half eaten food that I set aside to be picked up. I ordered BBQ , they also make burgers. I don't know if I'll bother trying them.

We had a late breakfast here on New Years day and it was amazing. I got the veggie bennies and my husband and boys got the organic buckwheat pancakes. I just had one of the best eggs Benedict I've ever had. They were seasoned to perfection. The pancakes were out of this world. Fluffy and light but very amazing flavor. There were 3 huge pancakes om my goodness! Corey was our waiter and he was wonderful! Awesome with our 2 and 3 year old boys. I would definitely recommend this restaurant over and over!!

My husband and I stopped in right before closing after being forced to evacuate our home due to the Marshall fire. We had no warning, no food, no clothing. Corey was the bartender. He provided us with drinks and a wonderful meal despite the hour being late. He was so kind and gracious, as we were very tired and worried about losing our home to fire. It was exactly what we needed at the time. We are grateful to the staff at this delightful restaurant for reaching out to us in such a kind, thoughtful way. Also thank you to Makayla for helping us feel welcome and comfortable
