“Nepal House Restaurant & Bar is a hidden gem in Boulder! The food is absolutely delicious, bursting with authentic Nepalese and Indian flavors. The service is attentive, and the cozy ambiance adds to the experience. Highly recommend their curry dishes and Chicken Tika Masala. A must-visit spot for anyone craving hearty, flavorful meals!

Nepal House Restaurant & Bar offers an incredible dining experience with its authentic Nepalese and Indian cuisine. The location is cozy and inviting, with the exterior showcasing a touch of Nepalese culture through the vibrant flags and decor. The food speaks for itself—each dish is thoughtfully prepared with bold, fresh flavors.

The fried rice is perfectly cooked with a beautiful mix of spices and fresh vegetables, while the sizzling tandoori platter seems mouthwatering with its rich colors and perfectly grilled meat. The presentation is top-notch, making the meal as visually appealing as it is delicious.

Whether you’re a fan of flavorful curries, savory biryanis, or grilled dishes, this restaurant is a must-visit. Plus, with reasonable prices ($10–$20 per person), it’s an amazing value for such high-quality food. Nepal House is perfect for a relaxed dinner or even a casual lunch. Definitely a gem in Boulder.

Amazing! Such a delicious and heartwarming respite to enjoy all the best dishes for the buffet lunch. The Masala chai was sooo good, as was everything. Super fresh, beautiful ambiance and such a kind generous welcome. Very best to the new ownership! I’ll be back soon and often!

Before Nepal House, this spot housed Nepal Cuisine, which closed because the owners retired. My family ate there at least once a week, and we were so disappointed to lose such a gem! When Nepal House appeared, I was skeptical (Nepal Cuisine really was very good!) -- but this new restaurant eclipses its predecessors.

The owners of Nepal House are incredibly friendly and welcoming. Every time we go, I feel like they're genuinely thrilled to see us. That attitude, I've noticed, extends to everyone who walks in. Add that warmth to the cozy decor, and the restaurant becomes a cozy respite that makes me feel relaxed and happy to be there.

We generally opt to go for the lunch buffet, which is probably the freshest and tastiest buffet in town. Anyone can enjoy it! There are enough options to happily satisfy vegans and omnivores alike, and several dishes stand out. My favorites are the saag paneer and the zucchini pakora. My kids like the chicken tikka masala, and my husband goes crazy over the tandoori chicken. They have fabulous bitter pickled veggies on the salad bar that pair well with anything. The naan is not self serve, but that's only because they want to make sure you get it freshly made! You're asked at the beginning of your buffet journey if they should bring some straight-out-of-the-oven naan to you. After the buffet, we love to chat over a cup of hot, sweet chai (included in the buffet!) and enjoy some rice pudding. The photos speak for themselves. If you like Nepalese/Indian flavors, Nepal House is an absolute must. The only thing that could make it better for me? A dinner buffet! No matter whether you go for lunch or dinner, though, I'll be shocked if you don't love it. Enjoy!

Vegetarian options: My vegan mother -- who also avoids refined flours and sugar -- loves eating here.

Kid-friendliness: Kids are well-tolerated here. I have a 2-year-old and a 6-year-old who really enjoy coming to Nepal House.

We had been going to a Nepalese restaurant at this location for years and were saddened when it closed.

Happily, the restaurant reopened with new owners (who knew the previous owners) and kept the best parts of the menu intact!

Highly recommend their lunch buffet with chai!

Amazing food! My group ordered a variety of appetizers and entrees, and it was all really, really good, and the owners were beyond nice. I would give the place every compliment possible, but you should go in and experience it yourself

Owner and operator was super nice, party of 8 came in and we ordered nearly $300 in food. Gave us another appetizer on the house, generous with portions, super kind when we had an incorrect spice level. Overall fantastic experience, owner asked for a picture with us to put on the website.

An absolutely stunning place to eat. The staff were super welcoming and made this place truly feel like home. The food was just speechlessly good, truly couldn’t get enough of the food. Literally beats any “fancy” restaurant in the area.
