The barista filled my coffee cup to almost. overflowing. I asked her to give me a larger cap and she refused saying she did not want to waste a cup. She said that she could put the cap on herself. She did not apologize. The coffee spilled when I tried to drink it. I was annoyed by this poor customer service.

The environment is incredible, nice and open with outside seating as well. The danish and croissant were tasty, but no offer to heat them up, which was a bit odd. Still, an amazing place!

Lots of seating, good internet, coffee and compelling setting. Only thing less than ideal is that the bathrooms are across the enormous store. Still, great place for coffee and chin wag.

Great place to get a coffee and meet friends.
The coffee is fine but I find the attitude of the staff insufferable. They always look at you like you are a first class annoyance. This is based on three separate visits over 3 months. Each time I got the same treatment. Neptune deserves better.
Meh- maybe it was the day, but none of the 3 baristas were overly friendly.
I wasn’t even greeted as I stood at the counter, until after stood there for about 90 seconds or so until after they were done conversing with other patrons.
The breakfast burrito was flavorful, but soggy.
The coffee is tasty, but drip options were out when I tried to get a refill.
decent experience, but nothing stood out enough to want to come back- especially since the coffee and burritos aren’t made on house, even though they are good brands
Good if in a pinch, especially before going up the flatirons

Overall I'm luke warm on the place. It's expensive but maybe it's a Boulder requirement to be expensive ? $8 for a microwaved burrito and $3.50 for 12oz of drip coffee with a $1.50 refill.
They did cut and plate the burrito after running it though a panini grill. That was unexpected for sure. They should advertise that as it seems like something extra.

I remember the first time. A coffee shop in a mountaineering store? Now, years later, I kinda love it. The baristas are great, the coffee is good, and you can get 16oz ;)

Place is super rad! Incredible staff and the environment is cozy! ?
Love the vibe. They don't have as many options as some other coffee shops but they have the basics and nice employees. It's the chill lounge vibe I look for in coffee shops.

I've been coming here for coffee every week for the last year. The staff is always kind, the drinks taste great, and the prices are very reasonable. Great place to catch up with friends, get some work done, or to just hang out.

Local. There’s something to be said for friendly local chill cafes. And this one inspires outdoor adventure, tucked away in the corner of a mountain supply shop.
