I remember the first time. A coffee shop in a mountaineering store? Now, years later, I kinda love it. The baristas are great, the coffee is good, and you can get 16oz ;)

I've been coming here for coffee every week for the last year. The staff is always kind, the drinks taste great, and the prices are very reasonable. Great place to catch up with friends, get some work done, or to just hang out.

Local. There’s something to be said for friendly local chill cafes. And this one inspires outdoor adventure, tucked away in the corner of a mountain supply shop.

Stopping by Neptune Cafe and Mountaineering (the cafe and mountaineering are one store) was a pleasant way to spend my Friday off of work. The drinks and food were delicious while also being very reasonably priced. Below are a few other pros and cons I thought about while being here:#Pros- Good and reasonably priced food and drinks- Really cool atmosphere if you're into the outdoors- Located in a nice, quieter area of Boulder- Plenty of parking- Dog friendly!#Cons- There are not many power outlets here that I was able to see so long work may be difficult to achieve here- It is a bit of a noisy cafe with lots of chatter so deep work is also hard to achieve

Love the vibe. They don't have as many options as some other coffee shops but they have the basics and nice employees. It's the chill lounge vibe I look for in coffee shops.

Nice bright interior but choppy wifi and bland chai. Don't expect to take zoom calls here.

Really comfy coffee shop with a climbing and outdoor theme sharing the space with the outdoors store.
