Relaxed elegance just off Pearl. Superb service, excellent food, confident but humble staff all within a reasonable fine dining price tag. Sunchokes were our favorite dish last night while the facaccia style bread they serve with the burrata could have been dessert.
The sunchokes were one of the best appetizers I've ever had and the cocktail was unique and tasty. I love the use of seasonal food and it was delicious. The server was helpful with recommendations and all of the staff was attentive. This is a great meal out!
.Good experience with good food in a pleasant environment! Good option to celebrate with family and friends
We really wanted to like this place. Overall the meal was okay but several things fell flat. The service was very average. Took 10 minutes to bring sparkling water, drinks came after apps arrived, was never prompted if I wanted something else with my meal. Food was okay. Nothing bad but nothing fantastic. Probably won't go back.
We usually have a good time here. But our last time was less pleasant Just odd that the kitchen starts closing when customers are present. It was loud and so were the staff when they breaking down. The kitchen is open to the main dining room creating an unpleasant experience of feeling like they want us to leave. If they want that star they'll have to improve on that aspect.
Always love Oak. Cocktails and wine spot on! Apple and kale salad is my go to. Tried something new tonight - the spring lamb pasta and did not care for it. Pasta was cooked fine, but didn't like the preparation and would not order it again, sadly. Last time had the vodka pasta dish and that was very good.
I love Oak on 14th but even at 8:30pm Thursday, it was so loud in there. If that doesn't bother you, best place to eat!
We had an amazing post-holiday meal at Oak Friday evening. Sarah was friendly, attentive and explained the dishes perfectly. We loved the Arancini, Nebbiolo wine and especially Nonna's Sunday Ragout with Gnocchi aka pillows of potato from heaven! Definitely will be back for more. Thank you!!

Top notch. Strong, brief, Italian-centric menu. Appetizers (Crudo, Tartare, Burratta) were frankly outstanding. Quality beverages, too. Waitstaff was professional and enjoyably humorous. Smaller eating space remains tolerable when full. Will be going back next time I’m in town!

Incredible food, probably the best in Boulder I've had so far. Bring someone you really really like, set aside an hour and a half ish and split the dry age ribeye entree. You'll talk about it later.
Each dessert is better than the last. Pair with a nice drink and it's a truly wonderful evening. I look forward to coming here a full 48 hours in advance when we make reservations.
Dietary restrictions: First thing the server asked was if we had any allergies, they take it pretty seriously.

First time to Oak and went on a recommendation. This place is absolutely a gem in Boulder. The thing that stood out was the service. They were attentive, checked on things, kept our table clean, and were very friendly. I could not have asked for better service if they charged twice as much.
The food was also excellent. With the arancini and gnocchi being standouts. Both were some of the best versions of those dishes I've ever had. Dessert was good but the deconstructed carrot cake could have used more cake for my tastes. But I'm being nit-picky.
As a bonus for non-drinkers they had a nice selection of mocktails!
Pricing is Boulder fare, but I thought it was great value for the quality. Will go again.

we enjpyed a wonderful friday night dinner here. although the restaurant was quite full when we arrived, our table was ready at the reserved time. the kale and apple salad was exceptional, with a flavor that was bright, fresh, and earthy. the crispy risotto app came out just a couple minutes later and was amazing. the richness of the risotto was a perfect contrast with the salad, and a delicious, balance of texture and flavors. we shared nonas sunday ragout then finished our meal with carrot cake panna cotta. every bite from apps to dessert was exceptional.
Sarah was attentive and friendly, despite being very busy when we arrived. we appreciated the way all the staff seemed to work as a team to make sure our experience was exceptional.
the timing of the courses was spot on.
we also really enjoyed the selection of zero proof mixed drinks!
we finished our meal with decaf cappucinos that were frothy and fresh, the perfect ending to a lovely culinary experience.
definitely worth a visit in you are in boulder. im looking forward to coming back!

It was a busy Friday night. I sat at the bar and despite the fact that Chloe was working the well, she was still able to take care of me and others sitting at the bar. I started the night with an Old Fashioned. I'm very particular about my Old Fashioneds but it was perfect. She suggested pairing a Nebbiolo with the Ragout which was perfect. She made me a coffee cocktail to pair with my dark chocolate cake for desert. Despite the busyness of the night and the fact that she was working the well (making the drinks for the entire restaurant) she was able to give me the care I would expect and desire from a night out like this. Thank you Chloe! You were absolutely crushing it!!
