Somehow we have missed Oak at 14th on our previous trips to Boulder. It was recently recommended to us though and so glad that it was. The food was incredible. We shared the buratta and sunchoke appetizers and we practically licked the bowls clean they were so good. For dinner we had the salmon, the truffle pasta and the short rib ragout (there were three of us) and they all were delicious. Can't wait to go back!

We haven't been here in years and wow! Every single thing any of us ordered was wonderful. Especially nduja jam. So glad I rediscovered it, I no longer have to moan that there aren't enough restaurants in Boulder that I like.

Unfortunately we were hoping to use our $200 in Blackbird app credits, and while the server confirmed they accepted the credits here, they ended up charging our card for the entire bill through the Blackbird app. They also added an “automatic” 22% tip calculated AFTER tax without consulting us first. Really too bad as the food was really amazing. Don’t offer the Blackbird app service if you do not train employees on how to use it.

January 2025: Came here for a team dinner and was very pleased with my meal. We shared three starters: apple and kale salad; hamachi crudo; and the bean hummus. All of the starters were very tasty 😋. Good variety.
For our mains, we shared the short rib gnocchi and the 35oz bone in ribeye. The steak 🥩 was very flavorful. Cooked perfectly and served with chimichurri sauce. The steak came with what tasted like twice fried French fries with an egg on top. A delicious steak that easily fed the four of us.
Dessert highlights was the olive 🫒 oil cake and the chocolate cake.
Service was friendly and attentive. A wonderful meal. Would definitely come back again for more delicious food.

We had great birthday celebration. We had the Arancini, short rib and gnocchi and the pork chop. All were delicious. In addition, the cocktails were on point, although expensive. I highly recommend Oak.

The food at Oak was decent, but the overall experience was disappointing. Hospitality was non-existent…for a restaurant with such high prices, the level of service did not match the cost. The manager is incredibly self-important, which sets an uncomfortable and uninviting tone. While the food itself was enjoyable, good service and a welcoming environment are just as important, especially at this price point. Unfortunately, that was missing here, and it’s not an experience I would choose to repeat.

We came in on a Monday at five for my son‘s 11-year-old birthday. The staff was incredibly welcoming and acknowledged my son‘s birthday many times including a festive welcome drink for all of us so we could cheers. The Hamachi was delicious as well as the Tempura sweet potato appetizer is very interesting. We shared several dishes. I particularly liked the pasta with the fried mushrooms. Our waiter took exceptional care of us. I don't think I've ever had a better more attentive, thoughtful waiter. My son had a wonderful birthday in part because of our dinner at Oak. Thank you
