Hi!
Like trying mead as a Canadian. The cinnamon and vanilla bean is a little harsh. I'd try boiling the cheap cinnamon sticks before putting them in the mead. The bark is quite harsh on the finish and I think it would soften it.
Great selection of nectars and honey wines to taste and take home.
Not flavorful and carbonated ☹️
I stopped by because I was in the neighborhood and I have previously enjoyed a few of their nectars elsewhere. I didn't catch his name, but the employee that helped me was very friendly and accommodating. He walked me through tastes of all the meads and honey wines. I really enjoyed everything. Generally I stay away from sweeter offerings, but here I even enjoyed the sweeter options. I ended up buying with some togo bottles, more than I should have because of such a great experience and how much I enjoyed everything. Great job.
Hands down. Best mead I’ve ever had.
Didn’t care too much for the nectars or mead, though I’m finding that honey wine might not be my thing; tasted too similar to beer for me, and I’m no beer nut.But their reserves were absolutely phenomenal!!! I was shocked at just how wonderful the peach one was; it was incredibly smooth and delightfully sweet! It saddens me that I couldn’t afford a bottle, but next time I’m in Colorado getting some will be at the top of my to-do list!
Beautiful location, nice facility. Tasted a wide selection of tasty meads and the employee was very friendly and knowledgeable.
The technician was professional and knowledgeable. He quickly diagnosed the problem as a faulty heating element and replaced it.
When in Boulder get off the beaten path and swing out to this fun spot. We were greeted quickly and had a tasting experience different from what we are used to at Savannah Bee, but still super fun! Our hostess poured each tasting one at a time for my girl and I and explained the style as we sipped. For the $5 tasting you get to sample a lot of different meads. We liked the Apple Nectar the best and grabbed a bottle to go. Delicious!
Fantastic meads. Service was 10/10 tried all the offerings on the menu. Well worth a trip.

Very knowledgeable and helpful in finding a mead that I would like!
I got the traditional mead. I also make mead in 1 gallon batches at my house. This mead tasted like when I was first learning how, originally i underfed nutrients and had no temperature controlled environment. The original mead I made had a spoiled garbage aftertaste and in my opinion so does this mead. It tastes like a spoiled batch and that is after two bottles from different places. Not sure if I was just unlucky but I won't be reccomending this mead.
This is best mead I've ever had. I am super happy to have found out about it. This is outstanding. 6 stas if I could.
Been drinking there product for 20 years. Go and sample some bet you can't walk out without some.
Great mead, and the woman serving our tastings was very knowledgeable and informative of the meads we were tasting one by one. Definitely a great place to check out!
