Lots of better options in Boulder.
Go elsewhere.

My complaint is that checks cannot separated for large parties. We have had several large Birthday parties. People aren't able to figure what they really owe, and the poor sucker collecting the money always comes up short. It would be so simple to let smaller groups within the large group have their own food ticket. But NO!! They won't do that

I loved it! The breakfast burrito with carnitas and green chilli was a real treat. It's very large too!
As you can see, the enchiladas are great, including the mole sauce. Very friendly service 👍
There's lots of parking and plenty of seating inside, plus a terrace for warm weather. They also show NFL etc with game day special offers.

A real cantina. A place to go in Boulder. My new favorite. Awesome enchiladas and rellenos, fresh tacos, decent salsa, great to hang out in and watch the snow fall outside in Winter, with a big fat marg!

Food was good so was the service because CU was on break and there were no students. I understand it is soon to be torn down for new student housing 😞.

We usually do takeout here and it is good. But whoever takes the phone orders just needs to listen more carefully. Last night we received cheese enchiladas instead of chicken, and ground beef taco instead of shredded beef. I hate ground beef, so my dinner was ruined. Since we were home already, we didn’t want to return to the restaurant. Do it right the first time! Pay attention! Don’t screw over your takeout customers-that’s the first step in losing your business altogether.

Horrible service! They do not treat people kindly and refuse to get a manager when they make mistakes. Extremely slow and all underage drinkers inside.

It was OK, but nothing to write home about. If you're a pretty young woman, the service seems to be much better. The Rincón Argentino across the street is much better.

Stopped in for a late lunch/happy hour time. The portions were large, and the price wasn't too bad. The queso was a little watery, but had a good flavor. The service was a little slow, and the restaurant was uncomfortably warm. Otherwise, we enjoyed our meal.

Updated 8,17,2025: have been going to Rincon for more than a decade. They have a new menu with a wide selection. Service is always friendly but not timely. I'd recommend passing on the house Margarita. It might have tequila in it but its has 'other' alcohol that has a bad flavor and too much syrup . See the pic below.

ok , I havent been here in 2 years i think. Cant remember why, but i remember it being expensive and not really having me. I waited over 20 mins to get water and after 30 mins of waiting I left. I hate writing bad reviews, but It an honest one. I love Mexican food having hispanic family, and have alot of grace with things, and yes it felt authentic, but the prices were way over what i was expecting and after that ridiculous wait, i wont be coming back
