Bartender was very rude when I asked for a drink while we were waiting for our table. Really got us off to a bad start. Never ordered the drink. The waitress Danielle was GREAT and made up for it. Good food.

Hoping this was a one-off because River & Woods is one of my favorite restaurants. Yesterday we had very poor service - the waitress who brought our food was totally disengaged and almost seemed annoyed. Then they forgot our pancake, which takes 20 minutes to make. We had an entire conversation about it prior to ordering. All the waiter did was apologize - he didn't offer to have another ordered and/or offer something else in it's place. Lovely experience at this charming restaurant. Great cocktails and very yummy food. The s'mores dessert is outstanding and they were able to offer homemade gluten free graham crackers - YUM
