Available choices for lunch are minimal and barely appetizing. They got rid of the soup selection. Totally ripped off today by a half-full yogurt parfait in the produce section. The only have four self-checkout machines, one of which is almost always not working.

Today my daughter and I decided to go to the Safeway on Baseline, biggest mistake of my life!! I'm always on top of the sale ads and 60% of the time I shop at the Safeway off 28th but figured that the Baseline store isn't as busy so we took the sale ads to shop, the ad said 4 twelve pack soda for Pepsi, 7up, coke, root beer. We took 4 of them and many other things that we needed for the house, I thought that the end total was a lot! Mind you I'm a careful shopper.. as I looked over my receipt I noticed that I paid $6.99 a 12p so we go back in and the assistant manager said that I would have to pay more for sweetened soda and less for diet??? And then accused us of stealing frozen raviolis!! By this time I said I want to return all the groceries that I just purchased! Then the manager comes and says what can I do to make you happy? We said we just want our money back for all the groceries and he says well if you think that we will give you a discount on the soda it isn't going to happen!!! I can't believe that Safeway hires people like this!!! Worst store in the state of Colorado and I will continue to post on all media about our experience!
