I love this place, the cocktails are incredible, the Salt margarita with the blackberry syrup and thyme was easily the best margarita I’ve ever had, the other to cocktails I had were also truly incredible. The food was on point as too. all around great experience.

Wonderful experience all around - SALT made my sister's baby shower a big success! Max and the team were wonderful and it was so easy to coordinate everything with Brad beforehand and Marisa after the fact. The wine cellar was a perfect venue and the food was delicious (with a customized menu centered around what the mama-to-be wanted)! Really appreciate everyone's help at SALT in making this event so special!

So disappointed! This has been our go to for date nights and special occasions since they opened. Only spot in boulder we love these days. Made reservations for our anniversary and my husband and I went for dinner last night and sat in the cellar. We ordered drinks and they took a long time to come out. It appeared as though they were not making drinks downstairs for some reason, because the servers were bringing them down from upstairs. It was a packed Saturday right. We then ordered our food and a second round of drinks. Our food came in the timely manner, but our drinks never arrived. Our server was very nice and attentive, but was clearly overwhelmed by the amount of tables at once that he received. We finally got our drinks after we finished our dinner. This is unacceptable. I’m so sad. Seems like service has gone way downhill.

We have been here once before during the summertime and ordered a burger to-go because we couldn't get a table. It was fantastic! We were passing through town again and stopped here to dine inside. Prior to going, we turned to Yelp for recommendations and noticed they had 3.5/5 stars. We were shocked and wanted to use this experience to focus on improving their rating. Unfortunately, I would have to agree with my predecessors and would recommend that SALT has a lot of room for improvement. We ordered their signature cheese burger and the venison tenderloin. We didn't order a lot of food but what we did order came out over cooked which is kind of disappointing for a steakhouse. Saying the venison was dry is an understatement as it lacked all juice/gravy and was room temperature. While the burger was over cooked, it still tasted good. I ordered a glass of the house wine, which they were out of. My fiancée ordered a beer that had an unnecessary amount of foam. All in all, we won't be running back.
Best steak burger I ever had!! Get a side of the garlic aioli to go with it. The house made ketchup is so good. My friends also loved the pancakes. Great service and cool atmosphere.

Horrible experience tonight at Salt! I made sure to book their cellar for a special 30th birthday dinner for our daughter in law. I called to confirm the cellar the day before and it was confirmed. Once we got there, we were told by the Manager that they booked another private party in the cellar. We were very upset as this was a big deal and d we wanted it to be special. The Manager clearly did not care at all. She never came to check on us during the meal. Also--steak was like shoe leather, only not as tasty. Desserts were awful! Our server was nice but food, ambiance and Manager were terrible! Save yourself the trouble of dining here! Very disappointed !

Can't rave about Salt enough. Everyone in our group of 12 was so happy with their choices and shared bites around the table. My steak, which was ordered rare, was cooked perfectly and the Brussels sprouts were quite unique but excellent. The service could not be faulted in any way. I especially liked the way the salts on the table were presented in lovely boxes with a tiny spoon. I only wish they had them for sale as they were so unique. I'll be returning on a regular basis.

Got the salmon with noodles and the seasonings on everything we're great. Really nice meaty flank of salmon for the price so I was satisfied. Well cooked, if it was a touch more it would have been dry. Great restaurant for friends, it has a nice environment with comfortable lighting. I would recommend visiting.
