What the heck is a 7% "kitchen service fee"!? What a grift. If you want to pay your staff fairly then just reflect that in the prices. Don't bait and switch me when the bill arrives. Low brow move. Especially when not communicated until the bill is presented. Lame.

Otherwise a fantastic experience but that left a sour taste in my mouth (more so than the margarita - which was delicious). Food was good too. Just 7% more expensive than I expected

Great meal and service until our server disappeared, had to ask the bar tender for our check and we sat there w dirty plates in front of us throughout the remainder of the time.

Food was very good - had Spaghetti squash flautas, Sweet potato enchiladas and Flan. One thing I liked was I had a lot of choices as a vegetarian. The bar area was busy It was a little noisy for me. Otherwise had a wonderful experience. Also go with the expectation this is going to be more expensive than a regular Mexican restaurant.

I’m a huge fan of breakfast burritos, so when I searched for one, this place immediately caught my eye. I walked in and was greeted by super welcoming staff—it was almost like they read my mind and said, 'Breakfast burrito?' It saved me from any awkward conversations, lol. I went with the chorizo burrito, and I was surprised to find it already made instead of being made to order, but it was still a solid choice. It could’ve used a bit more egg to give it that true breakfast vibe—it felt more like a lunch burrito—but it definitely satisfied me for the day. I sat outside while I watch the sun rise. I’ll be back soon to try the bacon burrito next!

The food was good, but the pricing was surprisingly high. I ordered a bowl of pozole, and after spending $30, I left still feeling hungry. While the flavors were enjoyable, a bowl with just two bites of pork and an egg didn’t feel worth the price.

Stopped in to try the breakfast burritos after hearing they were the best around. After paying for a coffee, they said they only had a third of a cup left, and gave us that, but didn’t offer a refund or sub (they did say we could wait an unknown amount of time for more). Kind of weird. Person at the front seemed like they were not having a good day.

The potatoes in the breakfast burritos were super mushy and it tasted like it had been made quite a while ago, which is what I would expect for a five dollar breakfast burrito. Otherwise the salsa and chorizo was yummy.

I will definitely give them another try for BBs or for dinner and will update this review. Probably just an off morning.

For having received a Michelin mention I was surprisingly disappointed. The server was very unsure of himself, felt awkward and timing was very off. The food runner delivering our plates had multiple popular “pimple patches” on her face which I understand the use when you are at your own home but not when you are delivering my food. All of the dishes ordered, spaghetti squash app, salsa trio, chicken mole, quesadilla and taco all had an uncomfortable amount of salt and spice. We are not adverse to spice but the dishes just didn’t leave you wanting more. Was so excited about trying this place and left sad. Have tried all of the other restaurants on Boulders Michelin list and this would be our lowest rank. They also made us move tables and made us carry all of our own plates, glasses etc. Very awkward experience

As another reviewer said, it is above average. Our service was fine, and so was the ambience. The salsas were great, and then chips were okay. The carnitas tacos were delicious. I was really thrown off by the guacamole. This guac tasted bad. I wonder if they made a big batch and put some sort of preservative in it to last through the night. I tried two bites to be sure, and my friend had one bite. We couldn't eat any more of it. Very disappointed. I expected something that I could at least eat.

Santo is my favorite Boulder restaurant. I love you Santo. Could you return that love to me and others by returning your breakfast burritos to their former glory? They were great because the wrap was perfectly sized to the contents within. Every bite had minimal wrap and maximal filling. None of the wrap was dry and overlapped. No more. The filling is still great, but it’s insufficient. I end up with a pile of dry wrap each time. I used to buy 1 on my way skiing and then that counted as breakfast and lunch. I can’t eat it whole driving anymore. Numerous friends have expressed they don’t buy them anymore since they’ve gone downhill. The morning staff tells me it’s just the weekend ones due to who fills them. I don’t know what the real story is but I’d gladly pay more for a “large” vs. a “small” that is currently sold. Otherwise I am cashing out my nearly full burrito card and making my own from now on.

Santo is an above-average Mexican spot with some excellent dishes including the Queso, Birria tacos, and fish tacos. Stick to those items for an excellent experience. Don’t expect very formal service but the ambience is very welcoming and has an authentic feel. Overall, a recommended spot that is also on the Michelin Guide.

I visited Santo with my mother and sister and had a fantastic time! Immediately entering the restaurant, you are quickly embraced by the southwestern atmosphere. We started with the guacamole platter(highly recommend) and my mom and sister both enjoyed some drinks. For the entree I ordered the green chile cheeseburger and could not have been more delighted with what came from the kitchen. Overall, this is a great establishment to bask at the bar and/or have an atmospheric dining experience.

Stop this nonsense with tacking on fees. I wound love it if you take care of your employees well, but I can’t get behind this trend of fake menu prices. Set menu prices accordingly.
