Good food with higher prices that match the quality of ingredients.We had the Pad Thai and a burger. Pad Thai was good, but so salty that it was overpowering. Burger was great - especially the bun.We also ordered a few of the potions that were good.The service was a bit lacking. Our server seemed indifferent, perhaps even annoyed, with taking our orders and bringing food / drinks to our table.

I can't say enough great things about Shine. It's a treasure in Boulder, great atmosphere, impeccable food and libations. Their specialty drinks are a delight, the CBD and alcohol available to chill things out, or spice things up.Their mission is reason enough to dine there But you're also sure to find something to suit your palate. Plenty of options for gluten-free dairy-free and vegetarian diners.

This place used to be great when it was downtown. It’s gone way downhill. Service is pretty terrible, the food is overpriced, and now you have to pay a 19% “Shine” fee. Only reason Shine gets 2 stars is because the food is decent and they claim to use well-sourced ingredients.Leave this place alone and eat Fresh Thymes instead.

A fun concept and cute aesthetic with over priced items and poor customer service. My group arrived in the late afternoon, when the place was not busy at all. There were just four other parties, two outside and two inside. We stood by the door for several minutes, with nobody directing us. We assumed this meant we seat ourselves, so our group of five adults and three kids sat outside. We waited....and waited. After about ten minutes of no service, one of us went in to ask a server for some assistance. He said he would be right out to get us our waters and take our orders. We were only there for the fun themed "potions." About ten minutes later, the server finally came and started giving us water. We politely said we dont need water since we're ordering just drinks. Instead of taking our order, he then said he'll be back in a moment to take our orders. We waiter nearly ten more minutes before giving up. The drinks were also canned, so we went in and picked out the cans to pay for. We were nearly all set when the server came to us, as we were paying for the drinks, to ask what we needed. We told him we're going to get the drinks to go, obviously because the wait was ridiculous. There was no apology. Not even an acknowledgement of the long wait. Having to wait nearly thirty minutes for drinks until finally giving up is beyond ridiculous. Oh, I should also point out that while the drink names and stories behind them are fun, the taste were mediocre at best. Certainly not worth the price or half the price.

We stumbled upon this place one hungry evening. To our surprise, the food and drinks were creative and delicious. Also, tons of gluten free food! We will definitely be back.

I went to eat here tonight. My boyfriend said pick anywhere in boulder and I was excited to come here. The food is delicious and I have been here many times now. The server never came to our table after we got our food.. I had to ask a different server to check us out. He was rude. They started adding “shiner fee” which is a 19% cost of the bill, and the service was terrible. It is a real tragedy because I loved coming here. unfortunately will not be coming back ever again.

Um, yum?! We'd seen Shine in passing and didn't realize the gift we'd receive by finally going. The Potions are amazing, both "virgin" (14 yr old son) and "spirited" (mom and dad). This place is steeped in a great energy and even better food. All our vegan dishes were satisfying and delicious. This will be a regular place for us now!!
This has become one of our favorite restaurants since COVID. I love everything about this place, from the vibe, to the thought and intention behind their food and drink, to the wonderful owners. As someone who is gluten and dairy free, there are lots of options for me to choose from (everything here is GF and there are tons of DF options). I also appreciate knowing the ingredients in my food are high quality (organic, local, pesticide/hormone free). Their sweet potato fries are the best in town. Their burger is awesome and their homemade buns are tasty. I LOVED their salmon plate with brussels and butternut squash (please bring it back - I ordered that like 3 times per week, lol!) This is just an all around awesome place. I love the food and I love being able to support such a great place that has been giving back to our community for years.

The magic started when we called ahead to make sure Shine was open and still serving food. Nicole was so welcoming on the phone, we were excited to meet her once we arrived. We were delighted to find Molly, our server, and Nicole, the manager, dressed for Halloween as the potions on the menu. They were adorable and made our night. We got an awesome spot by the fire and took the recommendation of the male bartender to get the cacoa. So delish. Food was good. Vibe was awesome. The hospitality made us want to return!

Shine is my all time favorite restaurant in Boulder. The food is absolutely define! It’s so healthy yet has the comfort food feel. They have the best vegan food on the planet!!On top of that, you absolutely feel like you are in a magical place. The atmosphere and high vibe makes you feel you can do ANYTHING! You get to see the world in a view of ultimate possibilities!! It’s inspiring and truly makes me feel the magic within me and the world! The owners pour their hearts into everything they do....they have hearts of gold!
