Below is my review from 9 years ago. This restaurant is still great and will be one of my favorite places to go. Max was super helpful and answered all of our silly questions. All we need now to earn 10 stars is gluten-free quiche!
Very comfy. Nice menu. Okay the table we had was snug rather than comfy but the whole atmosphere was nice and comfy. Everyone was nice and attentive. I liked that they had Stevia for the coffee. Lots of parking. Healthy menu choices.

When you go into South Side Walnut Cafe, you are welcomed by wonderful smells, kind staff, and a beautiful atmosphere. The food is delicious! There are great specials, lots of vegetarian and vegan options, and tasty coffee.

We have lived in south boulder for years, and have given this place many many tries. The service isn’t great, but the food is just unacceptably bad. I really mean it. There is a funk and burned up quality to the savory dishes. I’ve never had a good meal here. I wish it was good because it’s the only place serving south boulder. Sorry.

I’ve lived in Boulder for almost the last 10 years and absolutely love this place. Really tasty nonalcoholic drinks. Their lattes and coffee drinks are incredible. They do also have a list of alcoholic drinks. The food is super good absolutely love the breakfast potatoes. i’ve had the duzer-rito, french toast, pancakes, tempeh breakfast scramble dish, classic eggs bfast dish and all are amazing! the vibe is always great and the staff are always super fun and attentive

This place is my favorite restaurant because the food and service are unbeatable.
I have never met friendlier restaurant staff, and the food and lattes were amazing. I got the pesto quesadilla. It was huge.
