I’ve lived in Boulder for almost the last 10 years and absolutely love this place. Really tasty nonalcoholic drinks. Their lattes and coffee drinks are incredible. They do also have a list of alcoholic drinks. The food is super good absolutely love the breakfast potatoes. i’ve had the duzer-rito, french toast, pancakes, tempeh breakfast scramble dish, classic eggs bfast dish and all are amazing! the vibe is always great and the staff are always super fun and attentive

I have never met friendlier restaurant staff, and the food and lattes were amazing. I got the pesto quesadilla. It was huge.

Great find! I ended up here because it was close to work and I was hungry hahaha. I was surprised by how good the food is. I ordered the pesto quesadilla (forgot to take a picture!). The size was great and the tasted homemade. I replaced the bacon for tempeh and I loved it!
The staff is super friendly, and the food is very well priced.
Would come back to try other things in the menu :)

Despite a somewhat packed lunch rush, I was surprised that food came out in around 5-10 minutes after ordering. Server was great and food was spectacular but may not be everyone's favorite. Definitely recommend for breakfast/lunch!

Would not recommend coming to Walnut Cafe if you are looking for a classic breakfast/brunch spot. Very bizarre menu with limited options. If you are vegetarian or really into healthy food might be the spot for you. I got french toast which was mediocre and breakfast potatoes which were pretty bad. The hot latte I ordered came in a glass cup which made it very difficult to drink and the person I came with got a cold latte that had no flavour (walnutty latte). Very disappointing overall.

It’s such a treat to come here. I think the food can be pretty underwhelming at times. But the people, service, and atmosphere make it great. Anything on the espresso menu is delicious. My favorites: pumpkin pancakes, blueberry cornbread, eggs marcos, Boulder latte, potatoes. Also, if you’re vegan, the only thing here is oatmeal really :/ lots of vegetarian options but not vegan.

The atmosphere and feel of the restaurant were good, but the food was mediocre. I ordered the Eggs Marcos and they came out less than room temperature. My son ordered the Tempe skillet and the tempe had no flavor at all and might as well had been potatoes. My mom ordered the potatoes and there was some type of hot spice on them that wasn't on the menu. We had to ask for our cups to be refilled vs having someone come over and offer to fill them. We prob won't be going back unfortunately.
