Nice venue hidden from Walnut street in Boulder, CO. Good ambience helped by live music. Our minestrone soup, lamb chops, octopus and creme brulee were very nice, but the pasta dish was bland.
Definitely worth the try, but would recommend skipping the pasta.
Service was attentive.

We didn't get good service, our sides came out way after entrees, so we had to eat main then sides. We waited for drinks and had to ask multiple people before getting the drinks. The food was tasty, but way overpriced for what was served.

The food can be hit or miss, not an enjoyable time, crazy mixture.

Love the atmosphere and the fact that it’s hard to find! That said, we knew it was more expensive because we had been there several times before, but the food just didn’t measure up! Short rib was dry and over cooked, $44??
The parpadelli with wild boar was talked up by the waiter, but a serious fail-so meh. It’s overpriced but if the food was on par that would be acceptable, given it’s a classy, beautiful space. Our waiter with an “accent”was a little snobby, and his humor was not really humorous. We felt tolerated.
Get a new chef, because we really want you to stay! Your food should be the star!! And seasoning is not the enemy!!

We had a truly excellent experience here on a recent visit. Our expectations were already quite high, because it's an expensive dinner. I can say that it went beyond. First of all, every single thing we ate had marvelous presentation and was delicious. I included a photo of the steak on a salt block, before they took it in the back to cut it for us, and the salad. My own choice was sea bass and I loved it. We each had a cocktail from the interesting menu. My espresso martini was ridiculously good. We ended up sitting at the bar, and the bartender who was serving us was extremely pleasant. The general atmosphere was vibrant and warm. I can't think of a single thing to criticize, so I'll just end it there and recommend this place for special occasions.

All style, no substance with nyc/miami pricing.
Felt like I was in a tacky club with a new chef trying to make a name for themselves utilizing new techniques but failing.
The wine I had tasted like vinegar
The focaccia was stale.
The salad was dry and the croutons were rock hard
The crudo was fine, but was tiny for the price.
The pasta was actually quite good, but I found three olives in my bolognese. Why was that in there?
The broccolini was super oily.

Service was spectacular though. Shout out to the wait staff.

We had a fantastic time. Ambiance and food are top class, beef tartare, pea risotto and tiramisu were simply amazing. It’s 5 stars and I’m suspect of anyone who suggests otherwise.

The food was flavorful and the service was great. Parking was a bit difficult to find as the parking garage was almost full the evening we went there. The only negative I found was the quantity of the food was on the lower side compared to the rest of the establishment at the same price point. Came out hungry after dinner. I had the lamb, but the meat was hard to find as it was mainly only bones. The steak order and the pasta was good in quantity though. We paid $440 including gratuities for a party of two adults and two kids.

Wow! My wife and I came early and it was amazing. The vibe and ambiance was off the charts. We felt like we were in a movie. The food was all delicious and put together nicely. Our waiter was so friendly and we really enjoyed our experience. We will absolutely be back.

1. See photo for door/entrance. It’s not clearly labelled.
2. Definitely have a reservation
3. Don’t come here hungry without expecting to easily drop $70 per person (without drinks). After sharing the cheese/meat appetizer and ordering an entree each, we ended up splitting a meal elsewhere afterward. To be fair, the meals were tasty, just not enough. Also THE FOAM. I didn’t want foamy essence of mashed potatoes. I wanted MASHED POTATOES.
4. Really lovely atmosphere. Modern and warm. Very friendly and polite waitstaff. Even provided hooks for handbags at the table. Weird art (displayed on screen). Lads, do your partners a favor and put on nicer shoes than worn out tennis shoes. Great bathrooms! Offer feminine hygiene products, mints, lotion, etc. Smelled great.

We dined at Stella's Cucina last night and we had an outstanding experience! The dining room is beautiful and intimate. I had expected a very loud meal, but the design absorbs noise and allows you to enjoy a conversation with your table, which is saying a lot- they had live music which was lovely and the right volume.

The service was exceptional- our server was attentive, gave great recommendations and anticipated our needs beautifully. We tried many dishes and were impressed by the freshness and brightness of dishes that are typically heavy.

The portions are not huge, which I appreciate- I loved the use of the right amount of high quality ingredients. The short rib, risotto and the sea bass were all great. The broccolini was a star with the crispy parmesan and basil oil. As someone who appreciates fine dining, I'd recommend Stella's to fellow foodies! Oh, as an extra, the chef even visited our table.

Both Sarah and Andrew have made my experiences here extraordinary. They are both so kind and energetic they make Stella’s an inviting place.

Steak was tender. Great experience

Eh, too expensive for what I got. Risotto was tiny portion.

The interior design of this restaurant is very well done and sets a notable tone of upscale sophistication for Boulder.
The service was impeccable, the timing was right on the mark, and the staff seemed well-trained and organized to match the intended dining experience. The food was wonderful, as expected. It was a combination of solid favorites blended with unique treatment by the Chef.

For us, all of the positives were eradicated by the music. We felt we had strayed into a EDM/Techno club that served great food. Trying to enjoy the ambiance, an excellent meal, and conversations with friends is nearly impossible when your space is bombarded non-stop with the loud, repetitive beat that this genre of music lives by. Not to mention the very high db level, amplified by the shape of the ceiling above our table,
We understand that other nights offer different music to dine by. It would be difficult to retake a chance at this restaurant.
