Best sushi place in Boulder, and rivals the upscale sushi restaurants in Denver! With a more casual atmosphere, and high quality food and service. The sushi chefs and servers are friendly and welcoming, and make sushi fast. Some of our favorites are off the chef recommendation menu. A must try is the aged Toro! Thank you to the dedicated staff / restaurant owners that keep this place running and keep serving delicious food.

We are mackerel lovers and its great to see they have such a wide range of mackerel dishes. Good sushi too. Service can be a little slow sometimes but no big deal

My family and I ate here for dinner and it was very delicious. It is a small and very busy restaurant. So do call and make a reservation. The sushis were so delicious and didn't needed the soy sauce to dip in. I will definitely come back for more!

Fantastic sushi. But really the stand out is the service. Must be the nicest people in Boulder. If I could I would give the service 6 stars.

Best Sushi in the Denver/Boulder area. Don't tell anyone, it's a secret. I don't normally give reviews, but these people are so nice and the food is next level so I had to.

Delicious Japanese food with yummy fresh fish and a variety of authentic izakaya (small plates).
It is unpretentious, interior is modest and service is friendly.
All around a great choice for Japanese, although they are often full so a reservation is recommended on busy nights.

You won't find much better sushi anywhere in the USA or Mexico including NYC. This comes as close as I ever had to heavenly sushi in Japan.

I came in with zero expectations. I wanted a sushi place I could walk to from my hotel. Having formally been in the sushi industry, I would like to think that I know a little bit about good sushi. This.Is.Good.Sushi. They craft every nigiri piece to be enjoyable without additional wasabi or soy sauce. They are a no frills place, but the food was outstanding. Possibly the best sunomono that I have ever had in my multitude of eating sushi around the world. The service was very pleasant too. I could tell they were busy, but they were friendly through and through.
