How about cleaning the entrance once in a while? And, those cold washcloths you brought to the table? They smelled. Bad. Unclean.
Not impressed and I would have left but a friend really wanted to eat there. I kept an open mind but IMO, how you care for your space is apparently evidenced in the food prep as well. Agedashi tofu in a goopy liquid? Pickled veggies that were soggy and undecipherable from each other. The baked salmon roll was fine as was the veggie roll. But not enough to convince me to come back. There are far better choices in town.

Authentic Japanese dishes served here. Best place for Nigiri. If you like fancy sushi rolls, I do not recommend you go here. Japanese pickles, chef’s kiss.

Everything about this place is incredible. It's my favorite sushi restaurant and one of my favorite restaurants ever. Been going for close to 10 years and will keep going as long as Nobu san keeps it open!

I came here with a small group of adults, and we had a wonderful experience. We mostly ordered rolls (several from the interesting specials menu). They were all delicious. Someone ordered Hijiki and I found it to be very tasty. The staff were above-and-beyond nice to us. The atmosphere was warm and lively. Based on this one visit, I'd highly recommend.

This is such an excellent restaurant, and a very special family-owned business that warms my heart every time I go in. There's no other restaurant in the Boulder-Denver area that compares for its quality of ingredients, perfect execution of the hot and cold traditional dishes, great sake selection, and friendly ambiance. They do the best salt-grilled mackerel I've ever had, the best agedashi mochi, the best nigiri sushi--and the miso-simmered dishes are amazing and hard to find elsewhere. The prices are fair and the food beats more expensive places in Denver. Yes, sometimes a dish will be sold out--but that's because they do everything fresh! I always feel taken care of there, and I always leave happy and well-fed, and thinking about my next visit.

Do not come here if you’re planning on wasting hours of your life waiting for sushi. I’ve been there Tuesday afternoon, waited 25 minutes to get to order and another 40 minutes just to get cold edamame. Another 20 minutes to get the first roll to the table. Horrible customer service, do not recommend. Sushi was decent but definitely not worth the wait…

Tried to order food to go, they said they were way too busy but we could come in and eat.. When we got there there were 6 other people in the restaurant, many empty tables. The food was very disappointing. We sent the Japanese fried chicken back, no taste.

I strongly recommend not coming here on weekends.
My girlfriend and I waited about 20 minutes before being seated, and we ordered around six items. The problem? Only two of them arrived.
After waiting another 15 minutes, we had to remind the staff just to get our sake. Then, three more items never came. Twenty minutes later, we received our miso soup, but two items never arrived at all, even by the time we got the bill.
If it’s busy—do not come. The service is a disaster.
The blonde servers in the dining area don’t even know the names of the items on the menu. When I asked the older lady in the dining area when our food would come, she just laughed like, “Oops, I forgot, I’m busy—what do you want me to do?” and walked off.
We later found out the item quantities were wrong on the receipt, and it was hard to even find someone to help.
Today was my birthday. I came here hoping to have a good day—but I left completely disappointed. If you want save or celebration day, DO NOT COME HERE

The best high quality sushi in Boulder !! The bluefin tuna sashimi melts in your mouth. It’s right up there with Izakaya den in Denver. Great service and I recommend making reservations ahead of time.

Some of the best sushi in Boulder in my opinion. The special toro salmon roll is fantastic as is the chefs bluefin sashimi special (with fresh wasabi!)

We were chased out of the restaurant because we brought food in for our son who has special needs and is difficult to feed. The worst part is they saw us come in and had us wait for a table before telling us we had to leave.
