This was an excellent little place. The sashimi and nigiri were really excellent quality I had chicken katsu curry which was so wonderfully authentic and delicious and we had some kind of deep fried ice cream for dessert that was amazing 😍. You might not think you can get good Japanese food
Sushi Zanmai has great sushi and other dishes. They also have hot dishes. The place is just so pretty and the seating is comfortable and inviting. Make a reservation as it will get crowded at night.\n\nEverything is just so fresh and filled with flavor. The tuna is my personal favorite. Best sushi in Boulder! We go to Denver for the sushi (Mizu, sushi den) and this place was right on par with our favorite Denver go-to’s. The atmosphere was decent, the menu had a lot of variety. But most importantly, the fish was fresh and most of it melts in your mouth. We can’t wait to go back!
