The server was awesome! Super attentive. I thought the chicken was good but pricey for what we got. The biscuit was great with the butter spread though. I wish they had some sauce options for the chicken though :/
My only complaint was the background music was way too loud. Everything else was great! Our server was particularly attentive considering how busy it was and the other servers were great about helping out.
Nice GF options. Chicken itself a bit on the greasy side, but tasty. Noise level was a little high, but we were seated near the bar.
Had a buffalo chicken sandwich and it was like a spicy salt bomb. Way too salty for me.

Where do i start??? Okay, Shelly the gm was outstanding! She made us feel so welcome and when she visited our table, she was not in any rush and was super warm and friendly. She was super generous wanting us to try their different foods.
Evan the chef brought out gluten free cookies that were so good! They weren't even on the menu!
Claire, our waittress made us feel right at home and assured us how safe the kitchen is for celiac/gluten free. She was amazing!
Dietary restrictions: Safe for celiac!

I used to love eating at The Post. I used to go to the location in Lafayette and went several times when it first opened and thought everything I ordered was good, the chicken, beets and sweets, beer, etc. I haven’t been there for a few years and I decided to use an Instacart coupon to order pick up for the location in Boulder.I ordered the fried half chicken, chicken sandwich, chicken Caesar salad, beets and sweets, and mac & cheese for my family. Everything tasted so bland. It was disappointing to spend $60 after the discount for bland food. I was really disappointed with the beets and sweets, which has always been my favorite side. In the past, they would put a dollop of goat cheese on top of the beets and sweet potatoes and I loved that flavor combination. Now, they add some pesto to it that makes it taste really oily and not as sweet. Also, the vegetables tasted very marinated, like they’ve been sitting in the containers for a while so I’m wondering if they put the sides in containers hours before for pick up orders.

amazing food! They messed up the order at first, but everyone was so nice!! And courteous, they fixed the order. The whole staff is awesome 💜 great place, highly recommend. Thank you for the wonderful service 💖
Organized a banquet for my son's team and it could not have been easier and more fun for the guys. They loved the Velvet Elk lounge, the food, and the AV setup. Angela was great to work with and walked me through all the details as I was planning the banquet from out-of-state. Thank you for a great event!

Shelley and the team at The Post took such great care of us when I reached out about accommodating my son’s multiple severe food allergies. She really went out of her way to make sure the kitchen would be ready for us and even got us a special dessert that he could have with the kids menu. It’s rare that restaurants are so accommodating, so we are grateful for a place where we can feel dining out!
Dietary restrictions: My son is allergic (anaphylaxis) to eggs, sesame, salmon, tree nuts, and peanuts. We are comfortable with small amounts of cross contamination, and they kindly accommodated us.

Yummy! The Ski Town coffee drink is absolutely delicious. As a fried chicken connoisseur I can highly recommend their salad. Amazing food and service.

Been here a couple times and it’s very meh. The chicken itself is fine but any dish with chicken in it that I’ve had myself or tasted has either been dry, not paired well with the other ingredients of the dish, or just mediocre in general. Drinks are also meh. Service is the usual lackluster style you get almost anywhere in Boulder. Oh, and the Mac n cheese tastes like kraft shells and cheddar… Very pricey considering the all around experience. Go to Raising Canes instead.
