I made a reservation and they sat us upstairs on the deck. It started raining so we moved to another table. We thought we were covered but when it started raining harder nobody came out to help, the food was being rained on. Server didn't quite understand the menu. Inside was extremely loud. Food was not bad, I won't go here again.
We ate on the top deck and Jenna took awesome care of us. Food arrived quickly and was delicious
I always enjoy my experiences at the West End Tavern. Bacon wrapped dates, Korean BBQ beef skewer, and the Shepherd's Pie are my favorite. Super friendly staff.
I really like the west end tavern. Lucas is a wiz behind the bar, and the kitchen makes baller wings. Always a great and delicious experience.

Beautiful and convenient spot on Pearl Street with multiple parking options close by. We had a table on the roof and it was a great spot for dinner. Unfortunately, we had multiple problems including a filet that was ordered as medium and came out well done!!! When we brought it to their attention, they took it away and brought us the same filet that was cooked even more. I don't know if they just hate beef, but no chef would cook a filet that much, or try to fix the problem by cooking it more. Thankfully, the brussel sprouts that came with my filet were wonderful, and the chicken wing appetizer had already taken the edge off my appetite. The other disappointing thing is that we were taking our friends out for their anniversary and had shared that with the hostess who took us upstairs. I think we even mentioned it to our first waitress, but then she got switched to a different section and then the second one was switched to a different section so no one but us ever acknowledged that we were celebrating. Why ask if you are celebrating something and then not follow up on it? Perhaps, it was just a fluke, but I'm not sure we will ever give them a 2nd chance.
Unfortunately, nobody in my party of 4 enjoyed their meal. My sons reported their pork and chicken were too dry. My salad/lettuce had orange spots on it. My husband's mahi mahi sandwich was soaked in coleslaw/bun inedible.
Did not eat but drinks and service awesome!

The shepherds pie was good, but the appetizer (Korean bbq skewer) and side (onion rings) were definitely the best part of the meal. The cocktail was also really good.

Great place to get wings and watch a game.
Nice location and atmosphere, friendly servers, dishes are nicely presented, but the food was just ok and took very long to arrive. Both the regular and the sweet potato fries were frozen products heated in an oven, not made fresh. I suspect the appetizer was too.

Korean BBQ skewer was mediocre at best. My fries were a bit over seasoned. My friend did really like the chicken sandwich. Service was good but not exceptional. Ate outside which was quite pleasant! So many options on Pearl St...I feel like you have to really stand out, which this didn't.

The food was very tasty. The fries were excellent along with the fish/chips, burnt ends and burger. Service was lacking. Seems as though the server was new and a little scattered. But that could be a one off we will be back again.
The service was pretty bad. I want to state now- the restaurant was not busy and the ratio of customers to servers was about 1:3. We sat ourselves, as we were told to do by the host, and were met with passive aggressive responses from one of the servers. Even after explaining we were told to do so. Then we sat for about 10 minutes before being greeted by our server, took our drink orders and left without asking about appetizers. Then waiting another 20 minutes for her to come back with the drinks and ask about our appetizer, we chose chips and salsa with queso. Which took another 20 minutes. Then she asked for our main course meal and was accommodating towards our chances , which was very nice. But after about 30 minutes, she came back to the table and said “Hey, I lost your food order ticket. I apologize. Can I get your order again?” which is fine, accidents happen all the time. However- after taking our orders again, she not say anything about trying to rush the order or comping our food, even after we waited 30 minutes for nothing. The food finally came after about another 30 minutes. The food itself was honestly pretty good, no complaints there. After the food, we waiting another 20-30 ish minutes to be checked on by anyone and tried to flag down like 3 other servers to ask for the check and some boxes. No one came back. The same host found us again and asked if we needed anything, we asked for the check and some boxes, he brought both items within like 4 minutes. Anyways, the food was good and we went because of the food reviews. But overall, the service from the serves was just poor. It was probably just an off day for them, but it ended up being disappointing.
