Love their mango Lassi and vegetable korma!(I skip the Lassi if I'm ordering on a Sunday [their last open day before they're closed for 2 days every week] though. It seems like they make it in batches and it's had a bit more of a fermented taste on a Sunday than any of the other days I've gotten it, otherwise it's fresh and delicious!)Vegetarian options: Vegetable Korma (can be made vegan) is always great!

I have never tried the food. It does smell good, but the service is so awful picking up orders, I wouldn’t ever consider eating here. Just another restaurant in town that does not care how long you have to wait for your to go orders.Last night was my final straw in this place. There was literally no one in the restaurant at 7pm last night except 2 other drivers waiting to pickup orders. They took 10 minutes to bag up the first two orders and then proceeded to tell me it was going to be a while for my order yet. If this didn’t happen every single time I tried to pickup from this place, I wouldn’t be posting this review. If you are working for a delivery service, beware of this place. They will cost you all kinds of money in the long run.And to whoever runs this place, how about you try picking up orders from your own restaurant and see how you like it.Never ever again.

I dined in. The service was friendly and fast. I went and looked and saw there were a lot of one star reviews a year ago or several years ago; I have to say my experience did not match up with theirs at all.I ordered the chicken masala because it is a staple of indian-american restaurants and what I always order if I'm visiting one for the first time. I ordered it hot, so I don't know if you'll find the flavors the same if you order yours medium or mild. I also got the cream option, not the coconut milk. Coconut milk is a good creamer for tikka masala if you do not consume dairy, but it does not taste the same, so keep that in mind. The creaminess of the sauce was immediately noticeable. I honestly hadn't seen sauce of quite that consistency before, but I'd guess they weren't shy with the cream. Maybe they are using some other thickener? Either way the result was stellar. The chicken was a tad dry. Presumably chicken breast, and I didn't really notice the dryness that much as it was drowned in sauce. The one ounce of constructive criticism I'd respectfully offer is that you can achieve the same level of sterilization and salmonella reduction as you do at 165 degrees with lower temperatures over time. Failing that I'd recommend switching to dark meat, it's cheaper and it won't dry out as quickly when exposed to those high temperatures. All in all though this is the best Indian food I've had in Boulder County. The flavors were great, the spice was really well balanced--by this I mean it had a good balance of lip and palate burn--and the rice was well portioned to the sauce. I got a good portion of food too, not too expensive and filled me up.One of the things I noticed from the negative reviews was that they mentioned it being westernized; I can't call myself an expert on cuisine from the subcontinent, so I don't know if this is still true, but tikka masala is an immigrant dish anyway. That's just how immigrant food works. I find accusations of inauthenticity to be frankly silly. Tradition is to eat what you have, and to work with ingredients you can get. Nothing's ever the same, you know? That's life.

Tiffins is one of the best Indian restaurants in Boulder. The lamb biryani is a favorite. The staff are also very helpful and responsive.

The food is good but we were highly disappointed that our two entrees only came with one small side of rice total. The menu states that all entrees come with rice, but they gave us one small serving between the two of us. For $17/meal, I would expect that we would be given enough rice to accompany each of our meals.

I stopped by Tiffins before seeing a show at Fiske with a friend. We needed something somewhat fast, so she suggested Tiffins. It's kind of like a fast casual type of Indian restaurant. The portions were huge, which I appreciated since it is actually quite expensive. I think my friend and I could've shared a meal rather than getting two of the same thing. I also tried the masala dosa and it was good! The garlic naan wasn't my favorite since it was crispier than I prefer, but not a showstopper. I'd go back. The service was friendly too.

totally delicious food in a lovely atmosphere. Excellent value for the cost. Every single staff member in the restaurant was efficient and cheerful. I can't say enough good things about this restaurant.

If you like authentic Indian dosas, this is your place. Not many Indian restaurants make dosas and Tiffins make excellent ones. I have been here multiple times just to order the dosas. And I have turned several friends onto this yummy vegetarian Indian restaurant! You won't be disappointed! The cheese dosa was and is my all time favorite! Treat yourself! Mmmmmm good!

The best in town! I've been eating here for the past ten years and their dishes are always so flavorful. The staff are friendly and super sweet. The dining room has comfortable booths to sit at; if you dine in definitely get the lunch plate. The curry and korma with garlic naan are our favorites. Their chai is the perfect balance of spices and a touch of sweetness. This place feels like home.

Stopped by and had a chicken saag and a chai latte. Both were the best we had ever had!! The people were so nice, and the food came pretty quickly. It's such a cozy, simple place where you can come to get a quick snack and hang out. I highly recommend this place for catering, or to come with friends. And finally, their menu, they have soooo many options to be sure everyone gets something to their taste.
