Trident is awesome! Love the book selection and the drinks and pastries are always so good. Great spot to meet and get work done, and there’s a variety of seating options inside and outside. It’s often busy though - I’ve been here several times and have struggled to find a spot occasionally.

I wish they were still open until 11pm... I guess the pandemic killed that.

This is a special place. If you're from out of town, visit the little bookstore and then grab a coffee/tea to have out front or on the back patio or even inside in a cozy booth. Excellent coffee. If you're a Boulderite, please try to shop for books at Trident or Boulder Bookstore, not big chains.

Cozy place to drink coffee/tea and socialize/study with friends. It gets very crowed after 3-4 pm and it is very difficult to get a table, so get there on time, if able. Prices are comparable to any other coffee shop in Boulder. Quality of coffee is good, hard to differentiate from other shops, but does the job.

Lovely bookstore and coffee shop. Coffee and chai are always fantastic.Lots of seating, including indoor tables and patio seating.Lines get long and seating fills up fast when it’s busy. The bookstore has a wide variety of books available, and it’s easy to walk inside from the coffee shop to the bookstore.

We'll never comeback here. Two useless casher assistant, ne is short hair and a kong hair. They never say Hi and hello we only have one line. When we got there they both in there. Who know's only one is serving. We though there's a two line since they both in there. The long hair told us to back in line. Acting like nothing happen. So crowded and full of student.

The coffee and pastries are not bad, but not great either. The seats in the main shop are usually full and you cam expect to wait in line but there is plenty of seating in the back patio. Lots of cool Buddist stuff. A decent selection of books but most are pretty pricey, especially for used prices. Staff is friendly and helpful, customers seem happy.

In a town where affordable 3rd spaces are sorely lacking, Trident has been such a welcome mainstay in my routine. Nowhere else in town am I able to strike up such easy conversations with strangers, read for hours, and catch local music on such a regular basis. This is one of those places where you'll want to be a regular, as it's a great spot to meet new people, relax, and find a social routine.
