Wonderful and informative tasting at Vapor Distillery. I am mostly a bourbon fan but the one single malt I tried was excellent. The cask strength bourbon I tried was phenomenal. Just won an award. Unassuming place but excellent spirits. Bought two of the three bourbons I tasted.
My husband and I stopped by here take the tour and learn about whiskey making as well as try some awesome spirits and we were not disappointed! We had the privilege of meeting Alistair who was an absolute joy to chat with! If you are ever in Boulder, go check out boulder spirits!
Let me start by saying that Weldon (not Wenchel) is one of the best distillery tour guides we have ever had. Nay, even the best. We’ve toured distilleries all over Kentucky and the country so you can trust our opinion. But you know what, you don’t have to. You can tour the distillery yourself and find out. But, the bad news is Weldon only has a handful of tours left to lead as he’s heading to the new Pearl street location in Boulder this November. Good news is you can still...
