Great little quiet coffee shop

They have a nice upstairs. Nobody shut me up when I went on the extended political rant, so that was nice for me. On the minus side, nobody shuts people up there when they go on extended political rants, so you'll have to be your own savior.

This place is under new ownership and Jeff is doing everything to make this coffee shop a great destination. I love it for its tucked away nature and because the sitting area is upstairs, separated from the hustle and bustle of the ordering and serving. Great for meetings and getting work done over a cup of java, chai or tea.

I enjoy spending time to drink coffee here while I get some work done.

You have to go upstairs to get a table

I like this place. I like the layout with the split level. It's usually cozy, any when it's quiet it's great, but the staff is often playing awful jazz and blaring it upstairs. It's obvious looking around that it annoys other patrons as well. People aren't going here for music, they are meeting friends or studying, it's my belief that cafes should be on the quieter side allowing people to hear each other.

Really cute cafe and the barista was so sweet, very gracious about letting me customize my latte. It's a very quiet place with seating upstairs and outside when the weather is nice. There is soft music so you can still have a conversation or pop in your ear buds. The coffee is rich and bold with wonderful flavor.

Simple coffee shop without all the trendy stuff to intimidate you. Small spaces make for a quaint experience with upstairs seating available for small groups. An easy to understand menu and friendly staff make Vic's a pleasant escape from those other coffee places.

Simple coffee place. Good place to meet friends.

Sparse setting with mediocre coffee. Internet didn't work and atmosphere is more Soviet than pleasant.

Excellent coffee, fast service, fair prices and nice atmosphere.

The place is a nice atmosphere, however, there are not convenient plug ins for computers if you are going there to work. Also, the owner is not very friendly and yells at people sometimes.

I love the layout of this place! I could sit upstairs and drink coffee for hours. Good place to meet with friends or get some work done. The staff was very friendly too.

Always satisfied - convenient place for me to swing by if I'm on the run. The gals/guys are quick to serve and they have an upstairs seating area - seems a nice quiet place to hide out when you need a few minutes to yourself...

Two stars might be generous. It wasn't even worth staying to try the coffee, so the extra star is a star of faith that it *might* be good. I arrived at 3pm when they close at 4pm. There were no pastries on the shelves and a sign on the counter that says they are switching bakeries and are still undecided. When we asked the barista about it, she said she doesn't know anything about it, they just put the sign up. Then she kept talking about how they close in an hour, so she's doing the closing process now. I ordered a rice milk latte and she asked me if I wanted regular milk. When I said no she explained that they were out of rice milk. This entire interaction was rushed and without a smile on her part. And forget about getting it in a mug, she let us know that was out of the question. In what seemed like another attempt to get us to not stay, she told us the wi-fi probably didn't work. Unfortunately you could tell that she really didn't want us there, she didn't want to do her job, and she was rude. It wasn't worth staying and she even told us we should just go somewhere else. The environment is nothing amazing and the service is nonexistent. No idea how the coffee is.
