This cafe is one of our best walnut cafe and favorite breakfast e.g egg marcos recipe here at Boulder. You can wake up with a delicious breakfast. The attention and service are good. High recommend.

Delicious food, expensive menu, and great community feel to the joint. Will definitely make this a regular weekend brekkie spot.

We have been coming here from almost 20 years. Very disappointed with the change of new ownership, less food, and prices increased. Took my daughter here for breakfast yesterday and the bill came to $53 after tip for the two of us to have breakfast and coffee.

The Walnut Cafe has a very good reputation and I've tried it twice. The first time I tried the breakfast burrito which was a gooey mess and not very tasty. Today I tried the club sandwich and it was mediocre. Something cold was put into it which made the whole sandwich cold. We asked for tortilla chips on the side and got potato chips. Their specialty is breakfast so maybe that's what one should stick with ----just breakfast.

The service was good and the food wasn't bad but nothing much exciting and the menu looks the same no matter what you order, the service would probably the only thing I liked about this experience. Also to add, The ambiance was like walking into a diner, so it had that warm esk to it. So all in all, subpar in my opinion.

The interior is typical diner style- pretty cramped and crowded. The service was great, everyone was really nice. I got blueberry pancakes and was surprised to see that the better maple syrup was extra. I would assume the best maple syrup would be part of it. It didn't come with any sides. I also got a cup of the green chili soup and the taste was decent, but it didn't come out hot.

Don't miss the blueberry cornbread.

Tasty food and easy seating late on a Saturday morning. We were quoted a 20 min wait but the two of us were able to immediately sit at the counter. Walnut Cafe had a lot of tables inside and out with quick turnover. Though the patio states no pets, there were two dogs outside sitting or snuggled in their fur parent’s jacket, so maybe it depends on how tolerant the other patrons are. The food was tasty but the one thing that was not what I expected was the buttermilk biscuits which were essentially baked like a cake and cut into chunks. They were dry and very crumbly. I’d not recommend them as a side. The cornbread however was cooked the same way and wonderful.Wheelchair accessibility: There was a person sitting in a wheelchair at a table inside the restaurant while we were there.

Pretty average breakfast/lunch Cafe.Food is not bad, but not much better than what I could make at home and a little pricey for what you get.Very cozy little spot with good service, so certainly a nice experience overall.
