Stumbled upon Wapos for lunch and had the best Mexican food in Boulder! The chef recommended carnitas and al pastor tacos and they did NOT disappoint. Incredible flavor and even better service from the chef himself, will definitely be coming back!

I had the chile relleno plate and a margarita, my husband had the same food and 2 beers. Almost $85.00. What the heck? The food was far below any Mexican meal I've had in Boulder (not saying much there). The salsa,chips,service and patio were good. The food was horrible. Lots of corn starch to thicken the sauces but ended up like glop from a can. Very disappointing. You will no longer get the powerful margaritas you used to - they taste generic.

What an awesome spot. Authentic food, kind staff and great service. The patio has heat lamps and is dog friendly which is awesome. It's so cute. Tucked away right by the mountains. Overall the food was great. The chili verde burrito was the perfect amount of spice and the carnitas were awesome. Fajitas were great, incredible flavor and the shrimp was delicious. The only thing that wasn't great was the queso. It was practically flavorless so we mixed it with salsa which helped a ton. Overall great experience and we will definitely be back.

A local flavor NOT to miss. The place is smaller with inside & outside seating. I wanted something not overstimulating after a long drive and it was perfect! The food was insanely delicious! I got the spinach quesadilla and it was so so good. Everyone in the family raved, and that’s saying something! While the portion size was smaller, it completely satisfied my hunger and I didn’t feel that stuffed feeling! It’s kinda tucked away and really easy to miss but find this place! It’s a cozy Mexican food at its best. Service staff were also amazing! You’re welcome 😊

The Mexican food here was absolutely delicious and filling. I recommend the carne asada meal, as the steak was cooked to perfection and the meal itself was super filling. Great little spot in Boulder. There’s a indoor/outdoor area.

Today, I had an absolutely phenomenal experience at this restaurant while celebrating my daughter's birthday. From the moment we arrived, I was struck by how immaculate the establishment was, and the service we received throughout our meal was nothing short of perfect.
My personal highlight was the fish tacos; they were incredibly delicious and remarkably fresh, truly a standout dish. Our waiter was exceptionally friendly and attentive, further enhancing our dining experience. The overall quality of the food was simply amazing.
I would enthusiastically give this restaurant a perfect 10 out of 10 and wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone looking for a fantastic dining experience. I am already looking forward to my next visit!
