Zeal is always a great experience. The Lavender Lemonade is a must. There are always food options with big flavor, e.g., the Bebimbap breakfast bowl. The staff is always great.

Healthy food spot with tasty eats, many vegan and vegetarian options, and friendly staff, set in a large space with lots of windows and natural light. Ordered the cauliflower wings which were pretty good, two juices and two salads - the mighty salad and the kale Caesar. Salads were large. All was tasty.

2 days ago i came here for lunch and the hummus platter was tasteless compared to when i had it before. The kid who cooks there doesnt wear gloves and was putting food in his mouth while fixing food dishes. Disgusting and wont be going back again such a disappointment and the "Owner" always has a terrible attitude look on his face when me and my friends go there and sit at the bar as if we arent old enough to have a beer. Good Luck Zeal.

What happened to Zeal? It is nothing like it was when it resided on Pearl and 17th. The food was not good ~ like warmed up leftovers, and barely warm. Not much flavor and not much of it. The service was okay - great warm and immediate welcome, though it took a while for our wait person to get to us even though there were only two other people in the whole place. We ordered an appetizer (Zucchini fritters - not too bad) and a beverage and I told him we wanted to wait to order since I did not want the main dishes coming out too soon. He said he could take the order now and that he would wait to put in the order, but he didn't. He then didn't come back to ask how everything was until we were almost done. My husband got the gyro and it tasted nothing like a traditional gyro and the pita was soggy - the fries were good though! I had the mac & cheese w/chicken and local mushrooms. It was barely warm, had 4 mushroom slices and the chicken was horrible - luke warm, marbled with fat and tasted gamey. We did not want to take a chance with dessert. We were hopeful but terribly disappointed. We will not be coming back.

The excuses for food not served as described on the menu: 'the chef is new' The portions are minuscule relative to the price. I ordered the lamb gyro which came out cold. The zucchini fritters were burnt and the cauliflower wings were soggy. Meh!

The coconut curry was fantastic! The food is ethically sourced, locally where possible, and prepared with dietary restrictions in mind. No one should feel excluded from eating here. Will be back for more!

Came for dinner last night and it was amazing so we came for brunch this morning and it was also amazing. Don’t know what’s wrong with the people giving negative reviews. Best things were tacos, burger, spinach dip, and bacon fried rice but every single thing was great and super fresh.

The atmosphere was fine and the service was good. I would not return for the food. It was generally bland, texturally off, and far from traditional flavors based on the names/description of the menu items we ordered. Out of the four dishes we ordered, none of us were satisfied with our meal.

Food was meh. Price of meal wasn't awful. Service was great, our bartender/server was very friendly and he made great drinks for us.

We went here yesterday and thought it was okay. The atmosphere is nice and the service was great. The food was beautifully presented and creative, but it did not blow my mind and, in my opinion, was not worth the price. The portions are perfect for one meal, so don’t expect to be able to take anything home.We had the cauliflower wings which had a strange flavor to them, the vegan Mac and cheese, and the poblano power bowl, and thought they were all very okay.Edit: In response to the owner's response, I got the "Mighty Bowl," which is really the only possible menu item comparable to what I mentioned above, so I'm not sure it warranted the sarcastic response, but now you know the exact menu item.
